“Maybe hurting her foot? My dad said she wanted her mom first. Then us.” He said rubbing Tess’s back. “I’m just not sure what to do...” he said.

Jaxon sighed softly, "I don't know either, it was a pretty hard experience..." he murmured softly.

“Yeah. Is breakfast ready?” He asked his fiancé knowing he had been cooking. He looked at Tess as she slept.

"Yes it is." he said softly as he looked at him, "I will take Tess, and you can eat." he said softly.

“It’s okay. I got her.” He said and picked her up. She wrapped her arms around his neck still mostly asleep. He took her to the table and sat down with her on his lap and he started to eat.

Jaxon sat down and began to eat with him, "How are you feeling?" he asked with a light smile.

“I’m great. How are you?” He asked him happily.

Jaxon smiled at him softly, "I am doing okay." he said warmly as he looked at him.

“Good. I love you.” He said to him. “Daddy?” Tess said quietly still half asleep. Luke smiled and put his fork down and rubbed her back. “I’m right here. You want to sit and eat?” He asked her. She nodded and Luke put her in her chair. She started to eat.

Jaxon looked over and got some food on a plate for her and smiled, he fed it to her gently, knowing she hadn't slept well.
