“It would be worth it for your wife.” He said with a smile. “Ready to head back out?” He asked him.

"Yes I am." he smiled as he looked over at Luke, "It is a good day at least."

“Yeah. I am glad that it is too. I enjoy the nice weather.” He said and went outside and looked around.

"It really is nice." he saiid with a smile as he looked around, "A good day for patrol."

“Yes it is. I am glad that we get to patrol today.” He said as he walked.

"I am too." Martinez chuckled, "A nice walk is always so nice." he smiled.

“Yes it is.” He said and walked. He looked around happily. He saw kids playing in a schoolyard and smiled. They seemed happy.

Martinez looked over and relaxed, "They seem happy at least."

"Yeah. I am glad that they are having a good time." He said as he walked. He looked over at Martinez. He got a call on his cell and looked at it. It was his mom. "I have to take this..." He said and answered it worried about his daughter. "Hello?...Mom calm down. What is going on?...Yeah I will be right there." He said. He hung up. "Sorry Martinez. I have to go. My mom thinks my daughter broke her foot..." He said and started running back to the station. He called his fiancé as he ran to tell him what was going on.

Martinez looked around in surprise and watched as he left to go and take care of his family.

Jaxon looked down at his phone, "Hello?" he asked as he answered it.
