Luke headed home with Tess. She asked where Dada was and he said he just needed to run. She accepted that. They got home and went inside. Luke turned on the TV for her and he cooked dinner.

Jaxon showed up a little later, having needed the time, "I'm home>" he called as he entered, taking his shoes off.

Tess ran over to him. “Dada!” She said and hugged him. She wanted his attention. Luke smiled at him. “Dinner is almost ready.” He said to him.

Jaxon picked her up and hugged her, "Hey cutie, how are you?" he asked softly.

“Good! We played t-ball!” She said excitedly and hugged him. “I missed you dada.” She said.

"I missed you too sweetheart." he smiled and nuzzled her cheek softly, "I am glad you had fun with grandpa." he said, taking her to clean her hands.

Tess washed her hands with him and then went to the kitchen and sat down to eat. Luke got the last of the food on the table.

Jaxon smiled and kissed his cheek "Thank you Luke.' he said warmly as he looked over at him.

“No problem love.” He said with a smile and kissed him. He sat down and ate with his family.

Jaxon smiled, he was dreading work today, he hated sitting and not being able to move, but he wanted to work at least.
