"Rodgers is investigating a case involving his ex and I am pretty sure he just wants to hurt her." he messaged back.

“That’s not good... I can talk to the chief if you want...” Luke sent back. He did not want to step in if his fiancé did not want him to. It was all up to him what he wanted.

"No, I don't want to cause any trouble, he doesn't believe me, and I don't want us to trun anyone against us and make this harder, as much as I hate him hurting an innocent person though... I will try and handle it myself.' Jaxon texted back. He looked at Rodgers, "Why are you doing this?"

“Okay as long as you are sure.” Luke sent back. He sighed and leaned against the wall.

Rodgers looked at him. “Doing what? Being a cop and doing my job.” He said. “All I am doing is my job.” He added.

"No, you aren't, you are on a witch hunt after your ex." he said, "That was a new mower, not the one thaat had went missing." he said as he shook his head.

“No I’m not. It is clearly a well used mower. It is her old one. You just don’t wanna believe me because I dated her.” He said to him.

"No, you don't want to believe me because I am a wolf." Jaxon said as he looked at him evenly, "It is a used more, the same make, but not the same mower." he told him.

“Actually, it’s not that you are a wolf. It’s her. I know her. She can’t be trusted. Ever.” He said. Rodgers looked at him. “She was the one who told you she got a new mower right?” He asked.

Jaxon looked at him and sighed softly, "Yes, as well as when I went to get you, the mower didn't smell like the other things in there." he said as he looked back at Rodgers, wondering what the other man had noticed that he hadn't.
