Jaxon took her and held her close, he nuzzled her cheek, "It'll be okay sweetheart..." he said softly, hating how upset she was.

Tess stayed close to him. He helped her calm down by nuzzling her cheek and being close to her. She got the hiccups from how hard she was crying. She put her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. The social worker sighed. “I will discuss with the family...” she said and went to the kitchen and talked to them. Luke gently rubbed Tess’s back to try to calm her down more. Tess liked having her dads hold her.

Jaxon held her close and nodded to the social worker, he kept her close, softly murmuring to her that it would be okay, and that she would be okay, no matter what happened. He looked at Luke as he joined them and stood close with his fiance so that they could both sooth poor Tess.

Tess stayed close to him and cuddled. It calmed her down a lot. She did not want to leave the only people she felt safe with. She opened her eyes and looked up at Jaxon. “I don’t wanna go...” she said quietly.

Jaxon looked at her, "I know, and I am sorry Tess." he said softly as he looked at her, "I don't want you to go, but we may not have a choice."

Tess frowned and hugged him tightly. “But I love you.” She said. She looked at the social worker as she came back. “They want to try to have a sleep over at their house with her and see how she handles that before we decide anything.” She said. Tess shook her head. “No. I wanna stay here. I’m not leaving!” She yelled.

Jaxon winced a little at the yelling in his ear, he looked at Tess, "You just have to try sweetie, maybe wyou will really enjoy it." he said softly as he looked at her, hating that she was upset.

“No dada... I’m scared... I’m only safe here...” Tess said and started crying. The social worker sighed. “I am not going to force her but I think it is a good idea.” She said. Luke sighed and rubbed her back. He was worried about Tess.
