“Is breakfast almost ready dada?” Tess asked. She was hungry.

"Yes it is, why don't you and dad wash up?" he asked as he looked over at them with a warm smile.

“Yeah.” She said and Luke picked her up and took her to the bathroom and helped her clean up. Then he took her to the table. He kissed her forehead and set her in her chair. She giggled.

Luke smiled and served them breakfast, "Enjoy!" he said happily as he silled at his family, well, hopefully his family.

“Thanks love.” Luke said and ate happily. “Thanks dada.” Tess said and ate her food.

Jaxon smiled as he ate with his family, content, he knew today might be hard, but he hoped it would go well, that it would be okay.

Luke cleaned up when they were done. Tess sat at the table and colored the paper Luke gave her.

Jaxon looked at Luke, he nodded as he looked over at him before moving to sit by Tess, knowing they needed to tell her before hand that a couple was coming to meet with her about adopting her, he didn't want to suprise her with that.

Tess looked up at him and laughed. She handed him an orange crayon. “Color dada!” She said giving him a paper. Luke finished cleaning before he sat next to the two. “Tess, we need to talk to you...” he said looking at her.

Jaxon took the paper, he began to colour with her, "Someone will be coming this afternoon to meet you, a couple, to see about adopting you." he saidsoftly.
