The Line We Made 1x1

“Yeah. Let’s get going.” He said with a smile. He left and took his hand when they were outside. He went to the home and went inside when they were invited in. Tess was sitting in the corner all alone. She looked up and saw Luke and Jaxon and smiled and ran over to them. She hugged Luke and then Jaxon. Luke smiled and hugged her back happily.

Jaxon nodded and followed him silently, he was worried, he headed in with him and looked at Tess, he was a little surprised when she hugged him, they hadn't interacted much. He hugged her back faintly before he let her go, he'd let Luke do the talking for now as he looked around at the kids in the home.

Luke looked at Jaxon and then looked at Tess. The woman was busy helping a child who got hurt. Luke looked at Tess and got down on his knees so he could be eye level with her. Tess liked that. He looked at her. “So Jaxon and I have been thinking about you a lot lately and wanted to see if you would like to stay with us for a while. You know how I told you He is a wolf, well, we wanted to make sure you were okay with that.” He said to her. Tess looked up at Jaxon. The home was full of kids running around with about four adults trying to control them.

Jaxon watched all the human kids run around with the adults tried to keep some semblance of peace, he looked over at Luke and smiled lightly, before at Tess, he knelt down beside Luke, "I know wolves are supposed to be scary and mean, but I'm not, I promise.' he said softly as he watched her, knowing she may very well choose not to go with them.

“I know. Luke would not like you if you were mean.” She said. “Can I go with you?” She asked Jaxon. Tess held her arms up to him. She wanted him to carry her. The woman walked over. “We have paperwork you two will need to fill out.” She said. Luke nodded. “Yes. Lead the way.” He said.

Jaxon looked at her, he nodded and picked her up gently and followed Luke and the lady to fill up the paperwork as he gently carried her, he was a bit worried about their schedule, "Do you like dogs?" he asked as he looked down at her with a light smile.

“I love dogs. My dog was Lulu. She ran away.” Tess said. “Do you like dogs?” She asked. Luke walked with them and sat down. Tess put her head on Jaxon. She was tired. She did not sleep much here. Luke started to fill out paperwork.

"I do, we have a dog we rescued." he told her with a light smile as he looked at Tess, "I hope you wiull like her." he said warmly as he held her and let Luke full out the paperwork until he needed to sign things. He signed the papers when he was asked, "Ready to come to our house?" he asked.

Tess smiled. “I am sure I will.” She said and stayed close to him even when he was signing things. She held onto him. That made the woman feel a bit better that Tess seemed okay with him. Luke smiled. “Let’s go home.” He said. He walked out and went to the house. “I didn’t like it there.” Tess said quietly.

Jaxon nodded as he headed out with Luke, "It was really busy there, I didn't mind." he said softly as he looked at her. "Let's get you to where you wull be staying for awhile." he said softly as he looked at her.
