Eleanor nervously looked up at him, worried that he was upset that she had drawn him. She carefully closed the sketchbook and stood up. "Will o be meeting your family?" she asked hopefully.

Vice smiled at her and nodded. "Ya. If you want to. I know they are really going to want to meet you but if you arent comfortable with that I understand."

"Good." Eleanor smiled at him. "I want to meet them." She ran her fingers through his hair. "Would you like your present now?"

Vice chuckled and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Christmas isnt until tomorrow, though." He teased as he kissed her cheek.

"But I'm excited for it," Eleanor whined, leaning against his chest. "And don't you want to show off to your family?"

Vice rolled his eyes. "They will still be here tomorrow. He said they go home after the first of the year. But fine, we can exchange presents now if you want."

Eleanor beamed happily and took his hand, skipping out to the front driveway. Cars were lined up along the lot, and a man was sitting near them, holding a clipboard. She beamed, leading him over to the man. "I didn't know what kind of car you liked, so you can pick one out for yourself."

Vice stopped walking as he looked at the cars stunned. A thousand emotions rushed through him and none of them were good. He pulled away from her and took a step back, shaking his head quickly. "No, Nora this is... This is too much. I cant accept this."

"Hey, it's fine. I want you and your family to have a nice car." Eleanor was worried that he didn't like the gift, and she could see that she was right. "If you really don't want it, I can give you something else," she muttered, looking down. She had no idea what else to get him, though. Maybe Matteo would have an idea.

Vice shook his head. "This is too expensive. I could never pay you back for something like this." He shoved his hands into his coat pockets and felt her present press against his hand. She would hate it. If this is the sort of thing she was giving him then she would think his was pathetic.
