Eleanor shrugged his hand off, getting up and moving away. "I need to be alone right now," she muttered, escaping down the hallway so she could break down in private.
"I didn't ask." Atlas didn't even feel guilty for not asking. He had been too busy with everything with Matteo. "I'm sure Abril knows, though."
Abril was asking the doctor what was wrong with Pavel, why he was coughing so much. Was he sick? She was afraid to hear the answer, but she needed to know.
