Abril smiled excitedly. She would have wanted to go back into the room to be with Pavel but decided to let them have some privacy. She went over to the infirmary to make sure her friends were alright, becoming solemn. She needed to make sure her friends were uninjured.

"Lady Victory?" Atlas said softly, reaching over to her and gently touching her shoulder. "Are you alright? You're safe now, beautiful," he whispered. "You've been taken care of."

Sutton looked over as he saw Abril walking off from where the prince was being held. "Want me to go get Abril for you?" He asked Solace quietly, knowing they were friends.

Romeo was awake but couldn't sit up yet, his chest and stomach too hurt to handle it quite yet. He felt better with the pain meds in effect but was exhausted. He gently kissed the back of Elliott's hand, relieved to have her with him. "Did you get hurt?" he asked her quietly.

Victory looked up at him, calming down a bit as she saw him. If he was there then the rebels must not have won. She was safe. She looked around for her friends, wondering where they could be and terrified they were dead since they weren't with her. But no, there was Elliott with Romeo, Solace was in a bed, looking weak, and Abril had just walked away from the queen. Her heart sunk a little. She could understand why Solace wasn't there, she was hurt too, but did Abril and Elliott not care about what happened to her? She turned away from them, not wanting to see them or have them see her crying. She tried to focus on Atlas. At least she could get some news about what was going on. "What happened? How did I get here?" She asked through her silent tears.

Solace shook her head a bit. "She's probably busy," she murmured. "Don't bother." She kept her eyes closed, feeling a bit bad that she hadn't had any of her friends come over to see her.

"No." Elliott rested her hand against his cheek. "I didn't get hurt. Abril helped us get to a safe room." She didn't mention that she had killed two people. She already felt awful enough about it."

"I found you in the halls. I brought you here." Atlas's expression was worried. "I thought you were going to die." He gently stroked her cheek with the back of his hand. "Don't die, okay?"

"I think the only people busy right now are the doctors and nurses. Everyone else is just waiting." But he didn't push too much, figuring she just wanted to be alone. He stayed in the seat beside her bed, wanting to stay close in case she decided she needed anything.

"Good. I was really worried about you, El." He smiled quietly at her, relieved to have her by his side. "Thank you for being here for me. I owe you one."

Victory tried to smile for him but it didn't wok. "Ill try not to. Im sorry for worrying you." She sighed and closed ehr eyes, wanting to block out the room. "So what happened? I saw the announcement and then everything went insane."

Solace was kind of glad he didn't push it. She peeked open her eyes, watching him a little bit. "Why are you staying?" she asked, curious. "You said you hated everyone, which includes me. You don't care about what happens to me, so why are you staying?" She didn't sound upset or mad, just curious.

"I was really worried about you, too," Elliott confessed, stroking his hair. "You don't owe me anything. Of course I'd be here for you. I love you. I know you'd do the same for me."

Atlas smile faintly. "Good." He took her hand in his, running his fingers over her knuckles. "Everything went chaotic," he agreed. "Me and a few others went after the king." His voice was lowered so only she heard him. "He's dead now. Other rebels were attacking the palace, more violent ones. There were a few explosions. I don't know the extent of how many people have died and been injured."

"If I dont care about what happens to you why did I save your life and not just leave you to bleed out on the stairs?" He looked over at her seriously, curious as to what her rational would be for this.

Romeo reached out and gently pulled her down to him so he could kiss her. "Its a good thing the king is dead and all of this is over. We dont need to hide anyone." he said, glad he found a silver lining.

Victory opened her eyes and looked at him shocked. "You killed the king?!" She hissed quietly so thy wouldn't be overheard. "i know he is horrible but why on earth would you do that? I thought you were determined to protect the crown, not kill it."

"I don't know." Solace couldn't hold his gaze and looked away. "I don't know why you helped me. You hate me. You keep hurting me. I don't understand why you'd help me."

Elliott smiled, gently kissing him. She was happy that they could be together. She carefully lied down beside him, tucking herself into his arms. She lovingly gazed at him, pressing kisses to his shoulder.

Atlas forgot that she hadn't known anything about this. "The king was a monster," he hissed. "Besides, I was helping Romeo. He's the one who brought the idea of killing the King."

"Would you have preferred that I leave you there to die? Ill be sure to leave you alone next time i find you bleeding out since this seems to be causing you so much emotional trauma." He rolled his eyes annoyed and leaned back in the chair, resuming watching the room.

"Romeo wanted to kill the king?' She drew away from him and covered her face with her hands. "Please, just leave me alone. I can't handle this right now." Was Pavel dead too or was he next on the kill list Atlas and Romeo apparently had? All o this felt like a nightmare and she wanted to go back to when things were just confusing and not dangerous as well.

"No, that's not what I mean." Solace closed her eyes, irritated at him. She stopped talking to him, since she wasn't getting anywhere.

"Oh." Atlas was disappointed that she wanted him gone. He silently cursed himself for upsetting her. "Alright. As you wish, Lady Victory," he muttered, getting up. He brushed his hands over his uniform, fixing the wrinkles as he left the infirmary.

Sutton chuckled, amused at her irritation, but didn't try to start a conversation up again. He got up and left her to rest, leaving the room to go see how badly damaged the castle was.

Victory hid her tears behind her hands. She was all alone. The king was dead. The castle was in ruins. The Prince was insane. Everything was falling apart and all she wanted was to go home. But she was a three now, she couldn't go home and back to her old life. She would be stuck alone away from the people she had spent her entire life with trying to learn a new skill since she couldn't return to the circus.
