[Boomer]

Alessa actually looked the vet in the eyes, something she hadn't done in a long time. He was kind and didn't belittle her, thus she felt comfortable around him. Alessa took the syringes and examined them. "That sounds good." she answered, "Thank you for coming on such short notice." Alessa set the syringes on the counter, giving a small smile. "I'll do my best." she smiled, her tail slowly wagging. Alessa never had a pet nor was she ever responsible for another living creature.

The vet smiles "oh! And one more thing. Mr. Jingles needs to eat before the pain killers, if he doesnt they might make him feel a little sick. And keep an eye out for fevers or an large amount of swelling, or change in behavior or eating patterns." He says. "And it's no problem really, anything for the royals." He says bowing to alessa. "I will see you in a few weeks, and if you need more meds let King Felix know and I'll be by." His warm smile. "I'm sure you will do great princess." He says once more. "I ought to be going now." He turns to Felix and bows. "My king." Felix shakes the vets hand as he bids him goodbye.

[Boomer]

Alessa nodded as she understood everything the vet told her. "Thank you very much." she said softly. She set the box down before standing by her father's side. She offered her paw, as she assumed that's what Felix would want her to do.

Felix looked surprised. "Well done." He admits.
The vet knelt down to alessa, he took her paw and placed a gentle kiss on it. "It, was a pleasure to meet you my princess." He says and with that, he leaves.

Felix looks to alessa. "Well, if you are going to keep Mr.Jingles he shall stay in your room so you can keep an eye on him." He clears his throat slightly. "And...I've, um left you a gift on your bed." He refers to the sketch book, and the colored pencils and pencils and paints.

[Boomer]

"Have a good day, Doctor." she called, watching him go. She then went over to collect the syringes and Mr. Jingles' box. "Thank you..." she said softly, "May I go to my room? I'd like to get Mr. Jingles settled in."

Felix nods slightly. "You may, if you wish to keep him maybe I can get him a cage of some sort." He says slightly asking. "I feel a box is not suitable, for the Prince Jingles." He chuckled slightly.

[Boomer]

"A cage sounds good for him..." she agreed. Alessa thought about keeping Mr. Jingles in the box for the first few days, then upgrade him to the cage later on. "He should stay in the box for a few days." she murmured, mostly to herself, "It won't be good if he injures his leg even more."

Felix nods "I agree. I will pick it up tomorrow. Since it's getting late. Dinner will be in a little while." He explains. "I will have the maids get you when its ready." He says once more motioning for her to go to her room.

[Boomer]

Alessa made her way upstairs and got her pet set up. She looked at the syringe and the medicine she was given. Alessa read the bottle thoroughly before drawing up the amount she needed. Alessa gave Mr. Jingles another cracker for good measure. Once he finished eating, she gave him the medicine. "I'm sorry, it's probably bitter." she frowned, watching the mouse limp to his water bowl.

Felix went to his office. He sat down at the still unfinished paperwork that haunted him. Sighing he continued doing the work, rubbing his forehead in frustration as he did the math and calculated many issues. Another pile of paperwork where complaints he had to read and take care of. Simple things like, flooding from clogged rain deposits when it rained, prices for specific things being too high, and really unimportant things that weren't emergencies. He growled at all the useless complaints.
