Alessa was a little unsure of his sudden mood change. She didn't question it, however. She gave a nod as she carried the mouse and Scarlett inside. "A raven attacked him..." she said after a few moments of silence, "Or it must've been a crow. I'm not sure, but it was a big black bird."

Felix looks at the mouse. "I can call a vet?" He suggests. "We might not be able to do anything for it, but we can give it crackers and water until the vet arrives." He says. His ears were now fully back up and he returned to his cold self.

[Boomer]

Alessa nodded, hopeful that the mouse would be okay. "Don't worry Mr. Jingles, we'll get the best vet for you." she said softly. It was clear she wanted to take care of the mouse; Alessa did have some motherly instincts. "Is there a box we can keep him in?" she asked.

Felix looked around before pouring out a box that had napkins in it and places a napkin at the bottom. "Here." He says before turning and calling the vet. "Hes on his way about, 10 minutes he will be here." Being king had its perks, he had an on call everything. Anything he needed is at the tip of his fingers.

[Boomer]

Alessa took the box from him and gently set the mouse into the box. She then searched for a small bowl. Alessa found one, filled it with cold water, then grabbed a packet of crackers. Alessa laid on the floor and gave Mr. Jingles the water bowl and a cracker. The mouse happily accepted the cracker, nibbling on it before lapping up some water.

Soon felix walked to the door when someone knocked. He opened it to the vet. The vet bowed "my king, what is it I need to look at?" Felix leads him to alessa and the mouse. "A mouse. His leg is injured." He explains. The vet nods and he walks over to alessa and the mouse. "May i see him?" Besides the vet was a bag which had all his necessary on the go supplies to be a vet.

[Boomer]

Alessa sat up as the vet entered the room. "Yes sir." she said softly, "His name is Mr. Jingles." She picked up the box to let him take a closer look. "Some kind of black bird was hurting him." she explained, flicking her tail. She was hoping that he could help her new friend.

The vet smiled lightly "alright Mr. Jingles let's see what we have here. " he says as he tries to apply pressure to the leg and he could tell the mouse was in pain. He tried stretching the leg and the mouse was in pain. He nods "well, it's broken. But I can make him a tiny little splint and he should be better within a few weeks." He says grabbing into his bag and making a small splint and putting it on Mr. Jingles. "He will need bed rest, so no letting him run around for atleast a few days. Plenty of food and water and he will be fine. " he says putting Mr.Jingles back in the box gently.
Felix listens to the vet "it will be your responsibility to take care of him alessa." He says coldly.

[Boomer]

"Is there a way he can receive IV pain relief?" she asked softly, "Or IM, if his veins are too little?" Alessa had enough experience with being in pain. She thankfully never had a broken bone, but her burns were worse than that. She stood up with the box in her paws. "Would hydrotherapy help after the splint is taken off?" she questioned. For once Alessa paid no attention to Felix's cold tone; she wanted to take care of Mr. Jingles in the best way she could.

The doctors looks at her "smart kid. Well I can give you syringes of pain meds you can use for him. You give it to him by mouth, it a liquid pain killer. I'll give you 6, he should only need one a day and then if his pain persists I can give you more." He says pulling out tiny syringes with plastic tips. There was no needle attached it was just a regular syringe. "And yes, but dont let him swim by himself. Hold him up in the water, I suggest that I come back in a few weeks to see if the splint can come off and we will see if he needs the hydrotherapy. Hows that sound?" He asks.
