Rhys pulls his gun as soon as they’re limp and unloads a clip into their face. "You’re useless. Pathetic. Piece of sh — hey! Hi. Right." He snaps out of it when called, and quickly shoves away the gun to join them. “Hey, hey, you big baby loaf — you’re okay. You’re okay. Rhysie is gonna patch you up.” He assures the beast, dropping to his knees in the blood. “Hey, uh, please don’t touch me, or distract me in any way, shape or form. It’ll mess this up.” He warns, adjusting his sleeves before moving forward. The slag isn’t good, makes the contact hurt as his body desperately absorbs it. Hopefully healing would burn it off before he went overboard. He takes a breath before focusing, tattoos lighting up again.

Zane nods his head and keeps back, watching the skag give a few shrieks at rhys but make no move to attack, sounds dieing down and soon being reduced to soft huffs and chirps as the wound heals over. Soon enough the beast is slowly laying back down and nudging at rhys, grunting softly, like trying to see if rhys was okay.

Rhys has to take a few moments, going limp and slumping over for a minute or so. He finally moves when the skag nudges him, nodding slowly with half lidded eyes. "Ahhah. Yeah, yeah I’m okay — I’ll be okay. Shoot.” He hisses, hand moving to his abdomen. “We just... gotta wait for the others to return.”

Zane moves over instantly once sure rhys was done, looking up to see the group coming back, thought timothy has something in hand. What looks to be the teddy bear rhys had gotten amitiel, her only doll that she absolutely loved, and half the bears usual tan fur, was stained a dark red.

Rhys tries to stand when he sees Timothy, but ends up falling back to the floor with a hiss of pain. His eyes are focusing on the bear Timothy holds. “That ass. He was probably bluffing. Doubt he took her to the leap.” He says, mostly to himself, before trying again to get up.

Timothy collapses before he gets to close to rhys and skag-jack, dropping to his knees then just sitting back, thus buddy hesitantly takes the bear from timothy and approaches rhys so to put the, damp and tacky bear in rhys hands.
"They definitely took someone the size of a six year old child there. Not much remained because rakk's had gotten to the body however. Your beast started howling when close enough. So it was definitely someone or something they recognized." Fl4k stated with a shake of their head.

"Come on we've gotta buck up! We don't know if that was actually her! Could of been a midget! Come on we gotta find jack! We find jack we find the truth!"
"Why are you still in my head when your corpse is right there?" Timothy mumbled with a numb gesture to the body.
"Thats alittle freaky. And I don't know. Maybe that wasn't actually me I don't know how this time stuff works. But seriously, come on, get up! We've still got work to do!"
Timothy just shakes his head before covering his face with his hands, entire body trembling now.

Rhys takes a shaky breath, looking at the bear before staggering over to where Timothy is. “This is pointless.” He says. “They’re both dead. Jack was wrong when he thought he could protect Amitiel. He’s an idiot and now he’s dead for it. Closure for everyone. Lets go back home.”

"No... no. Jack's... still gotta be alive.... what is wrong with you? Why do you just... not care anymore about someone you love?" Timothy mumbled, looking at rhys with half lidded, tired and sad looking mismatched eyes.
"Yeah. The guy never said jack was dead. He said he had the thing somewhere. So that means he's still alive! Something about an auction!" Moz thtough out.

“Jack chose to leave. Jack chose to leave us. Because he threw a temper tantrum and couldn’t take a moment to clearly think.” Rhys snaps, still holding onto his abdomen at the moment, wheezing slightly. “It doesn’t matter if Jack’s really dead or not. Physically or not, he will be when he realizes Amitiel’s gone. The fallout will be bigger, I’ll be blamed for letting them go, it’ll start an even bigger fight, he’ll storm off again. This is pointless.”

"If you really loved him you wouldn't care! You'd of wanted to know he was safe! But it seems all you can do is think about yourself! Because if Zero was here, he wouldn't care! He'd want to know his partner was safe! So stop thinking about yourself for five minutes and think about the fallout you'll suffer for leaving him behind! Angie didn't even want to eat until she knew where jack was! So just imagine what will happen when you tell your on daughter and husband, that you were to damn selfish to know the truth." Timothy all but snarled.
