charlie pulled up his search browser, humming thoughtfully. "i thought i remembered seeing.." but then he trailed off. the con was, in fact, in about two and a half weeks- that was so little time to give the organizers. still, he tuned his phone to julian. "this one is soon. i can have my manager call and ask about us getting a both? it is short notice, so no promises, but.." he smiled, bright and sunny. "we might get in, though." he turned the phone back to himself, lost in thought. they probably wouldn't have much merch ready by then, if any, but that wasn't important; a little booth to introduce them as working partners without the unnecessary cameras and pushy reporters. not that he some of the fans were any better, but they'd cross that road when they got there.

Julian hummed and searched the web on his own phone for information on possible cons in the area of them. He nodded as he read the information that Charlie provided to him. "That sounds fine to me. It'd be great to get into one sooner rather than later." He spoke as he looked at him. "We won't have much merch produced by then but it is more important for us to have a booth so that we can explain to the fans about us working as partners in a more natural environment without the cameras and reporters." He added as he watched him. "But we will need to bring some security just in case some of the fans decide to go too far." He added. "We could host a little Q and A though. Have the fans line up to ask us questions." He explained. "All neat and orderly." He smiled.

charlie hummed his agreement, remembering all the crazier encounters he had had with fans before. gods, there had been a group of fans outside the building earlier just because they wanted to see julian. it was sort of scary to think about; he had even been at the library earlier that day pouting with not a worry of being ambushed on his mind. at the con, they'd be more public about who they were, what they were doing, and why. security was basically a necessity. "well, it won't be hard to get a couple of people for security. we'll just use some guys we already have here." he paused, sighing, knowing he was just being a hopeful thinker when he added, "hopefully, their presence will be enough to scare anyone off." charlie didn't really need julian being kidnapped, nor himself. it would be such a dramatic news story, and it would take so long to get over.. yikes. suddenly, something came to charlie. he looked toward julian again, a wild idea on the tip of his tongue. "are you free tonight? we can eat dinner at my place and brainstorm some merch ideas."

Julian was glad that they seemed to be on the same side of this whole idea about having security at their event. They could never be too safe, especially with the amount of publicity the both of them go through each day of their careers. "Smart idea. I am sure the guys here would be willing to help us out by being our security for that day." He explained as he looked at him. He chuckled. "I am sure they will be able to scare any possible criminals off if they are tall and broad enough." He teased. "And having some eye-candy to look at during the day would be nice too." He joked with him with a smile. "I'm most definitely free tonight for dinner and brainstorming." He explained as he watched him. "What's your address?" He asked curiously, passing him a paper to write it down.

charlie nodded slowly, possibilities spreading through his head. he'd love to meet the fans, and he was especially excited to meet julian's fans. would they like him? would charlie's fans like julian? charlie wanted to think so, but there were always toxic fans or fans who thought they knew better than the celebrity. he didn't reply to the security jab, but he knew his face must have heated at least a little bit. some of their security did look kind of nice... "here" charlie sputtered, taking the paper and pulling a stray pen off a nearby staff. "I;m trusting you with this. don't go blabbing about it!" he joked. "we should make a little video, maybe like a vlog? oh, and how about we go live? get some of the more unfortunate fans in for questions, since not everyone can come, especially on short notice."

Julian nodded as he could almost see the cogs running through Charlie's head as they spoke. He was excited to be working so closely with someone who had an artistic vision such as Charlie. He chuckled at Charlie's joke. He nodded. "I agree. We should be a nice vlog announcement video." He spoke. "It should help with announcing that we are working together as well as that we are looking into going to cons." He spoke. "Yes! Going live would be amazing! So much fan interaction." Julian smiled happily. He loved interacting with his fans.

charlie's face was colored slightly now, but his excitement was overwhelming. "let's make a video - right now," he blurted, but then backtracked when a thought came to mind. "ah. maybe after we have dinner? or during, if you're not afraid of eating in front of online people." there was a questioning title t his voice now, a curiosity he could not quench. "we can offer the rough ideas we have during it to any fans who want to listen and plan ahead. anyway, what would you like for dinner? i can get takeout on the way to my house, or I'm sure I can whip something up quickly like pasta.."
