Shane shrugged as he thought about his mother. “She has her moments like any other mother would. We can from wealthy families and are expected to do as our parents wish without fighting. We don’t lead a normal life.” He knew somewhere his mother loved him but that was little too far for her to give to him.
Jessica nodded at the mention of her being sick. “I was already being molded by our lovely mother. Till I had enough and learned business.” Her phone rang, which she picked up. It was a rather short conversation that ended with Jessica excusing herself. “I’m sorry children. I have to go. I’m needed. Shane, take her back to my house and introduce her to Henry. I shouldn’t be long. Just bag up my food and bring it back home.” She said and grabbed her bag, kissed him on the top of the head and left.
Shane didn’t show any emotions that would indicate if he was upset or mad. He waved the waiter over and had gotten her food bagged up with some extra sushi rolls. “Take your time eating. I’m not in a rush.” He said calmly as he continued eating.
