Drake shrugged, and the two took off, Sun staying ahead of Drake for a great deal of time. Eventually Drake caught Sun (he let him catch up of course), and he set off the other way.

Juan finally signed off the call with Lusamine before looking back at the trees. He sighed some, then noticed that Mary was venturing into the city on her own. He waited for her to be far enough before whistling for Drake.

Drake and Sun stopped and ran back to Juan.

“Thanks!” The teen said cheerfully. He and Sun took off at a brisk walk, quickly getting back to the alleyway. Once there, Sun went back onto the rooftops, and Drake carefully approached the second Furfrou. He knelt down and held out his hand for her to sniff, or bite, if she needed to.

[Boomer]

Juan followed behind the two, hanging out at the end of the hallway. Maria stayed frozen in her spot; she knew she couldn't run without a human trying to catch her. She too had a Luxury Ball on her collar. She didn't move to sniff Drake, as she didn't want her collar to be taken. She had a faded blue ribbon pinned behind the ball; it was the first ribbon she won. Maria was a former contest champion.

Drake scoched forward a tad bit more and began to gently pet Maria.

[Boomer]

Maria softly growled, showing that she was uncomfortable. It had been years since she last felt a kind hand. Maria was hoping that Mary would return soon.

Drake kept petting her. He softly massaged her swollen belly, hoping to relieve some of the pressure she was likely feeling from being so close to giving birth.

“It’s ok, girl. I just want to take you to the Aether Paradise with your sister. It’s an island filled with tons of different types of Pokémon. There’s even a cute little Poochyena there. I think you two would get along really well.” He kept talking, telling her about whatever he thought would calm her down. He made sure to keep his tone calm and quiet.

Maria got up the moment her underside was touched. She moved away a few feet and sat, curling her tail around herself. She and her sister's white coats were dirty and a bit matted. Maria pricked her ears as she heard Mary's low growling from the other side of the alley.

Drake turned towards the growling Mary. He watched her carefully. With a resigned sigh, he snapped his fingers. Sun dropped down from the roof, landing so he was standing over her. He wrapped his tail around her back legs, and firmly held her head still to keep her from biting either him or Drake.

Mary had tried to dodge Sun, but with the extra weight, she was too slow. Mary panicked as she was restrained, trying to kick and bite at Sun. Maria tensed up and stood, although she was a bit weak. She readied herself to use Headbutt.
