“Ah. Makes sense. What if the muzzle doesn’t work? What does a worst case scenario look like to you?” He asked pulling his notebook out of his pocket.

[Boomer]

"Muzzles always work." he stated, "At least for Pokemon that don't have hands, like Sun here. But you know what works best? Teamwork." He then turned to Sun. "Sun, could I ask you to stand on all fours?" he asked, "I want to show Drake various ways to restrain Pokemon safely."

[Drake99]

Sun looked at Drake, who nodded. Sun easily dropped down on all fours, turning down the fire as much as he could.

“Sun. No fighting back unless Juan says too. I don’t want to have to cart him off to the infirmary.” Drake said with a smile.

[Boomer]

"Ahah, right..." he sighed, "So, you want to put one arm around their neck, but not choking them. Keep the head still. Then you use your other arm to wrap around their body." Juan showed Drake while using Sun as a prop. He didn't apply any pressure. "If the Pokemon can turn its head, you're not holding on tight enough." he said. Mary glanced to Maria through a small barred window. The sisters looked uncomfortable.

Drake nodded and wrote a few more notes down.
“What about a Pokémon like Arbok or something with immense strength like an Aggron?” He asked.

[Boomer]

"Nets can be effective." he said, letting go of Sun. He then thought about how they captured the deaf Aggron. "Sometimes building their trust overtime works if they're not in a dire situation." he said. He sighed softly. "You can use your Pokemon to tire out the subject." he added, "Using moves like Double Team tires out a Pokemon faster. We'll also use a sleeping move or Thunder Wave. But we never use a move that poisons, burns, or freezes a Pokemon."

Drake nodded.
“Alright. What are the conditions for a Pokémon to be able to leave the island. How do you keep water types, especially the ones like Magicarp and others with gills contained?” Drake asked rapid fire.

[Boomer]

"If the Pokemon can properly hunt and defend itself, it can go back to its home." he answered, "We'll bring along special transport crates to contain the water types. If there's something large like a Wailord, we'll capture it and transport it in a ball." He then smiled a little. "You ready to examine them?" he asked.

Drake and Sun Wukong both nodded excitedly. They ran over to Juan.

“Yes!”
”Yes!”

“What do we do first?”

”Choose which one you want to work with first.” he said. Juan wanted them to pick, as he’d be letting them do most of the work.
