A Glorious Comeback (1x! with *Adashi*)

"Yeah, well, at least I don't lie about my health." Rhys retorted.

[Agent Maine(Meta)]

"Didn't tell me about your medication." John stated immediately.

[mandalorian]

"That was ages ago!" Rhys replied, glaring at him. "And there's an issue between taking medication and, y'know, actually dying."

[Agent Maine(Meta)]

"I'm not dieing. Oh my god, don't be so dramatic. Its just an upset stomach." John retorted.

[mandalorian]

"I'm not being dramatic! I'm worried about you!" Rhys snapped, getting to his feet. "And, y'know, it really hurts that you'd call that being dramatic. I'm worrying about my boyfriend, John."

[Agent Maine(Meta)]

"And it hurts me that you aren't trusting your boyfriend when he says theres nothing wrong! Its just a stomach ache!" John retorted as he pushed himself up before his attention turned to the nurse that stepped in, both to stop them from yelling but also to speak with the two.

"Well... Actually. It does appear to be more then just a 'stomach ache'. It does look like the stalker venom has messed with your biology, having you run higher then you would, making you seem optimal. However, from the blood tests, your system is flooded with hormones. So it does look like you have gone into a... Premature heat." The nurse informed.

John lifts his hands and groans in response. "M'kay. I concede. You win this round. Medical was needed it seems." He groaned.

[mandalorian]

"Yeah, whatever." Rhys said, fixing his jacket before looking at the nurse. "Thank you. Keep him for as long as you see fit." Deadpan now, he left.

John groaned when rhys up and left, rolling his eyes and grumbling softly but makes no move to give chase.

Rhys huffed, pacing the outside of medical for a while before finally leaving. He'd check back in later. He heads for their bedroom, getting settled into bed early.

John remains in medical for the time being despite everything finally settling in. Being in medical, without rhys while not feeling well and in heat was probably the worst combination possible besides the one time rhys got shot and he checked out. He definitely hates his life right now.
