John raises a brow but settles down pretty easily and resumes eating as well.

Rhys finishes up after, and discards the empty cup and trash into the garbage can after.

John finishes his food off as well as his coffee, setting the containers down and aside for now as he lounged.

Rhys offered a small smile before getting up and going around his desk, leaning against it and taking John's hand. "Thanks for getting us food."

John looks at rhys, offering a smile in response, fingers twitching, like he was going to squeeze rhys hand or hold it but would think otherwise or something. But john didn't seem to notice. "Of course." He answered.

"Everything alright? You seem twitchy." Rhys chuckled, giving his hand a gentle squeeze before raising it to kiss his knuckles.

John makes a noise at this, sitting up a bit. "I... Think i need to go down to medical... Cause rhysie, i can't feel that." John answered, tail twitching quite a bit.

"What? You can't?" Rhys squeezed his hand for confirmation, before his eyes widen and he moves forward to pick John up. "Jesus christ, why didn't you say something earlier?! It's probably some type of poison or something — oh god, why now?" He groaned, heading for the door.

John makes a noise when he's picked up rather suddenly. "Because it just now started." He stated, tail twitching but more slower now.
