A Glorious Comeback (1x! with *Adashi*)

"Yeah, you should." Rhys said, sipping his coffee after. "So, what actually held you up instead of a long lineup?"

John looks at rhys with a raised brow. "What is a long line not believable all of a sudden?" He asked with a raised brow as he nibbled at his food. Despite his throat feeling numb it almost hurt to swallow.

"That's my favourite shop, so I know there's never a lineup. Because there's way too many cafe's in Old Haven so everyone is always equally spread out, but the coffee there is definitely the best." Rhys replied, tilting his head.

John huffed a bit as he lounged in his chair, shrugging a small bit. "Alright, fine, i got distracted before getting lunch. Scooping out some of the vacant buildings because maybe i've actually been considering your bakery idea." He answered.

"Really?" Rhys leaned forward excitedly. "That's great! What were you looking at?"

John shrugged a bit. "I just wondered all over old haven for a while. That building we went star gazing on is vacant." He hummed, tail flickering back and forth.

"I should come with you next time, we can see which will work out." Rhys said, sipping his coffee after. "It'll be fun."

John nods his head, coughing a small bit before taking another sip of his coffee, but its not helping the pain in his throat or his chest now. When'd it move to his chest?

"Are you alright?" Rhys leans forward worriedly, raising an eyebrow. "You seem off."

[Agent Maine(Meta)]

"I'm... I'm okay? I mean alittle sore throat but its nothing." He answered with the slightest of shrugs. "Why? Does something else seem wrong with me?" He questioned.
