A Glorious Comeback (1x! with *Adashi*)

"I know it doesn't look very good. I don't really like needles either. But you've been doing really well so far, good job." Vaughn put down the hypo and offered a small smile.

"Yeah, that's... that's a good idea. Can you carry him?" Rhys asked, looking back at John. "Vaughn can take the kid, I just want both of them to get checked out."

"Yeah, I can carry timtam. Just make sure vaughn's got a good hold of the kid. Because they probably aren't gunna like fast traveling." He stated before moving over to first fully wrap lawrence in the blanket he has drapped over one shoulser then pick him up, carrying lawrence like how one would carry a sleeping child against their chest.

Theo watches vaughn for a moment longer before offering a smile back before seeing timothy get taken. Thus an upset noise escapes him but doesn't verbally fight john because john looks scary and thus is quick to get off the medical cot and run for vaughn.

"Hey, hey, it's okay. They're gonna help us. We're gonna move someplace better, okay? And we'll get you checked out." Vaughn soothed, immediately picking up the young boy. "It's alright. Just trust us, okay?" He moved to follow John after, Rhys grabbing their stuff and then following close behind.

Theo nods his head a bit after Vaughn's reassurance, even if he's more clinging to vaughn because of some of timothy's more delirious rambles from blood loss on the shuttle about how vaughn could totally take john. Timothy's exact words being 'vaughn could KO this nasty monster named Jack with one punch.' So Theo kind of clung to that.

John's tail flickered a bit, adjusting his grip on occasion to keep a hold of lawrence as they reached the travel station and looked at everyone to see if they were ready.

Vaughn whispers a warning to Theo before nodding to John. Once fast travelling and making sure they're all alright, Rhys leads the group into Atlas and immediately back to medical, where they're already waiting for the group. Vaughn takes Theo to one of the rooms instead of having an employee take him, setting him down himself instead.

John more then gladly sets timothy down on a gurney for the team to take him, brushing himself off a bit as the medical team takes timothy off to make sure he's alright.

Theo's obviously wary, looking around the room at the moment, even as medical does send in they're most child friendly member. Said medical person starts with talking to vaughn, a simple, casual conversation. Asking how things at helios are going, anything interesting happening, so on and so forth until Theo seemed comfortable with them in the room, thus began asking someone open/vague questions that would prompt Theo to answer after vaughn had before They finally asked theo if it was okay if they looked at them, and despite nervousness returning, theo does agree.

Rhys watches Timothy get whisked off, then looked at John and took his hands. "Storm was right."

Vaughn watches the interaction, replying to the doctors questions when they talk to him. He relaxes when Theo agrees to be examined and takes a seat, watching quietly. He'd check in with Timothy, but he knew the man would be okay and Theo seemed to need support more at the moment.

"And apparently they'res more coming. Storm did say there was gunna be multiple new additions." John answered, tail twitching as he squeezes rhys hand.

The medical personal finishes relatively quickly and informs Vaughn that Theo seems relatively healthy despite the ranging first and second degree burns thought the hypo made those much better. So the staff rewards the good behavior by letting theo have a lollipop, which the small boy seemed relatively happy with before they leave.

"Is this exciting? I feel like this is exciting." Rhys said, grinning.

Vaughn brings Theo out of medical once they were done, a little amused with how happy he is with the lollipop. "Do you wanna wait in here while I go check on Timothy?" He asked, gesturing to the waiting room.

"Should we call the girls? They were there when storm called it after all." john asked in amusement.

Theo looks around the waiting room, but it seems relatively safe thus nods his head and moves to take a seat so vaughn could go check on timothy.
