"I told them to bring it into the bedroom anyway.” Rhys says, amused. "I guess I'll just die here, though. Once we run out of food... I'll just lay down and lie... you'll be cuddling a corpse. That's disgusting, honestly."

"Honestly, probably not the weirdest thing to happen on this planet." Jack retorted with a small shrug of his shoulders.

"And you wouldn't even care that I died, wow. So much for loving me." Rhys continues the dramatics, sighing playfully and closing his eyes.

"You do know most animals just, lay with the people they care about when they grieve right? Often times to the points where they die as well." He answered with a faint chuckle, twisting himself slightly so to twist oddly onto his back and nuzzle his head under rhys chin.

"Oh, wait. Don't die as well." Rhys says, opening his eyes, before snorting. "No, no, actually do. I really don't wanna wander the afterlife alone."

Jack snorted and playfully smacked at rhys flesh shoulder. "I've died once before. Twice technically! Thrice? I don't know, do we count the digital once?... N'aw, lets not. It was stupid and didn't operate right anyways." He grumbled with a small huff, stretching out his legs and keeping them partially raised in the air.

"No, definitely not counting the digital AI." Rhys immediately states, almost tensing up but forcing himself to relax again, and nuzzles into Jack's hair affectionately. "Oh, come on. Are you saying you wouldn't wanna see me in the afterlife?"

"Rhysie, babe, i'm connected to a vault beast, i don't even think i can go to the after life." he answered with a soft chuckle as he nuzzled rhys just a bit more with another purr.

"And what nonexistent god decided that? No, no, we make our own rules, Jack. And I say... afterlife for both of us. Heaven like utopia. With limitless junk food, and you never get sick." Rhys says, sighing happily at the idea.

Jack chuckles softly but hums in agreement, humming softly in delight and appreciation at this as he mumbles 'sounds good' to rhys words.
