A Glorious Comeback (1x! with *Adashi*)

"I dunno. Anything. But you were pretty much just going uhhh whenever I tried to talk to you." Rhys teases, testing his hand on Jack's back and rubbing it gently. "Like your brain shorted out or something."

"At least you didn't record any of that.... And rhysie, babe, i love you, but i swear to god if my biology somehow lets that develop further, i'm going to the southern shelf, and i'm picking myself out a nice spot to be buried at sea, ya got me?" He retorted in a dead serious tone, even sitting himself up to get the point across.

"Jack. It's not my fault, I was just trying to help — wait." Rhys raises his hands to defend himself, watching Jack sit up, before he gets confused and cuts himself off. "What did you just say?"

Jack huffs a bit at first. "I said i was gunna dump myself in freezing cold waters for an eternal sleep if this hopefully one time thing, somehow ends up in making a child. Doesn't matter how much i love you, i'm not going through that again sweetheart. I'm good with adoption and all, but not... that" He stated in blatant honesty, not realizing why rhys suddenly cut himself off until after he's finished because now he's said it twice.

Rhys would've laughed at him and mentioned he was being ridiculous if he weren't genuinely flabbergasted at the moment. He stares at Jack, slowly lowering his hands, before laughing a bit nervously. His lips lift into a goofy and hopeful smile, staring at Jack with just a bit of intensity. "Do you... do you really love me? Jack?"

Jack furrows his brows a bit before huffing at the question, not hesitating to sit up, then move around so to sit and straddle rhys hips, tail thumping against the bed between his legs as he looks at rhys. "What kinda question is that huh? Come on, your supposed to be the fanboy here. You should know i'd of left after the dome if i didn't. Nore be this affectionate. Not many people get to see my soft side. And besides, i'd of been very upset at being called your boyfriend, if i didn't love you." He retorted, setting his hands on rhys chest for a moment before sliding them up to grasp and lightly squeeze rhys shoulders before he leaned down to plant a few light kisses on rhys lips between words, just to prove his point.

"I dunno, I just thought—" Rhys begins, cut off by Jack crawling onto him. He places his hands on Jack's waist and leans forward to return what kisses he could, and presses his forehead against Jack's shoulder for a moment or two afterwards, before laughing into it quietly. "I love you too, Jack. But you can't call me your fanboy anymore. I got over that years ago."

Jack chuckles a bit, smiling in amusement. "N'aw, you'll always be a fanboy. Be my little fanboy. Especially now. Since you seem to like taking pictures of everything i do that you think is cute or something." He answered, pressing a kiss to rhys temple and behind his ear with a soft purr rumbling from his chest and throat.

"Am I not allowed to? Should I stop?" Rhys questions, raising his head and looking at Jack with amusement. "It's not my fault you're so weird, I just have to capture every moment for blackmail and to make people believe me when I tell them about the stupid stuff you do."

"No, you do you, what ever helps you get through the day... But now i'm curious, what stories have you told people? And with what pictures?" He questioned as he settled ontop of rhys, purring still in a happy manner.
