A Glorious Comeback (1x! with *Adashi*)

And it’s not my fault I forgot — I hit my head a lot today, I’m surprised I didn’t get a concussion.” Rhys huffs, crossing his arms as he turns even redder at Jack laughing at him. "But I’m glad you find this so funny. I’m glad I could be of amusement to you, with my current head trauma.”

"Aye, i'm sure your fine. After all, plugging a bunch of cybernetics into your head, thats gotta be protected and the standard flimsy bone skull isn't a good enough protection. So your skull is most likely a some kind of organic metal compound to ensure the safety of both your brain and the cybernetics." Jack answered with a shrug of his shoulders, a bit amused at the moment as his tail flickered around. "And yeah, this is still new and weird for me too rhys." He concluded with another small shrug of his shoulders.

"I’m legally a robot on some planets. But that isn’t the point.” Rhys says, shaking his head. "Yes, we’ll go outside. But you are holding up okay, right? I mean — learning you were thought dead for a few years and then coming back not human isn’t... isn’t really the funnest experience. And this is for some reason my second time dealing with this. So if you need any — I don’t know... anything to help you adjust, I guess? I should have offered a while ago, when you first moved in. I’m sorry.”

"I'm still figuring myself out. Like seriously, remember like, six days ago, when you showed me i could flatten these dang things just by relaxing? I was puffing them up and flattening them on my own for hours as my own source of entertainment." He retorted with an amused laugh as he stepped forward, cupping rhys cheek then giving him a kiss. "And if thats the case. You are thee finest piece of machinery i have ever seen. A very fine piece of art of both mechanical and biological natures. Nothing will ever look as absolutely perfect as you or function as beautifully.' He hummed in a shameless flirt before giving rhys a few more kisses.

Rhys laughs, trying not to blush at the ridiculous compliments coming out of Jack, rocking back on his feet after Jack’s cupped his face. "There’s still a lot of human left in me. More than there is robot, anyway.” He says, laughing quietly, but returns the kiss anyway, wrapping his arms around Jack’s neck. "Either way, your compliments are appreciated and encouraged.” He says once they’ve parted, smiling.

"Either way. And good, they better be appreciated and encouraged." Jack hummed quite happily as he nosed and nuzzled at the side of rhys neck with a hum, sliding his arms around rhys waist now quite happily.

Rhys lets out a happy sigh at the contact, tilting his head and staying like that for a few more moments before promptly nudging Jack. "Hey. You were just complaining earlier about being hungry — do you wanna go outside or not?”

Jack hums, smiling greatly as he tightens his grip a bit in a playful manner. "Mmm. I don't know. I think i found my little snack right here." He purred, holding the position for a bit longer before finally releasing rhys. "But i would like to go outside yeah." he hummed.

Rhys hums in response to Jack’s words, leaning forward when he’s finally released to kiss him gently. "Alright. Lets go then.” He says, and walks back over to the elevator to bring Jack down to his outside area.

jack is smiling quite a bit as he follows, picking up his pace ever so slightly so not to lag behind or anything.
