A Glorious Comeback (1x! with *Adashi*)

Rhys immediately breaks into laughter, rolling back when shoved and covering his face to muffle some of the helpless giggles coming out of him. He starts to calm down when Jack continues on, propping himself up to listen, before flushing red and grabbing one of the nearby pillows. “Oh, fine then! Take your stupid pillows." He snaps, shoving it into Jack’s torso and rolling to the other side of the bed.

Jack laughs in response, grinning in amusement as he bats the pillow away before reaching out to put his arms around rhys torso and drag him back over and against his chest. "Nope, n'aw. Come back here. Ya entered the wolves den now ya gotta lay with 'em." He answered playfully. Nosing at the back of rhys neck.

“No! Why don’t you take your stupid pillows, you were just going on about how great they were anyway. They’re obviously so much better than me." Rhys says, dramatic as usual, though trying to hide his smile as he shoves his head into the bed.

"Your being over dramatic again. What have I said about that. Come on, save some dramatics for me. Besides. You asked why, I answered. They don't try and leave me in my sleep and some of them smell like you, is their only good quality. They aren't warm, they aren't interactive, they don't mumble cutely in their sleep when disturbed." He hummed, nuzzling the back of his flesh shoulder now.

“Hmf." Rhys huffs, and remains like that for a second longer before raising his head and looking at Jack best he can over his shoulder, smiling. "Fine. Go on." He encourages, just wanting the compliments now.

Jack chuckles a bit in amusement. "You want me to continue, ya gotta roll over and face me." He stated in amusement, smiling more as he presses a kiss to the back of rhys head.

“But I’m comfy." Rhys complains, before finally giving in and rolling over to face Jack. He leans forward to press their noses together before draping an arm over him. "Okay, go on, now. I think you were saying something about how great I am... something about how cute..."

Jack chuckled a bit more at how rhys tried influencing his words with little tidbits. But he did proceed to continue on listing the reasons why rhys was better then a pillow, as well as list his favorite things about the dorky CEO.

Rhys is more than happy to listen, content laying beside Jack and watching as he lists things off. He’d really wish his face would stop burning, but he’s unfortunately unable to control it. He looks about as red as a tomato when he finally leans forward to cut Jack off and pull him into a passionate kiss, as a quiet thank you for both the compliments and helping during the earlier fight, which he whispers once they’ve parted.

Jack is mid sentence when kissed but jack doesn't care. He's focused on rhys when they part, purring faintly before smiling and pulling him close, nuzzling the top of his head. No problem kitten. No problem." he mumbled happily.
