Eloise nodded in promise but his words hurt. "You dont worry about me. You probably enjoyed seeing them hurt me. You said yourself you never want me to be happy."

"I don't want anyone to hurt you. Not even me. I was angry, and frustrated, and everything I did was a mistake. I don't want you to forgive me, because I don't deserve that. I just want you to stay safe."

Eloise pulled away from him and sat up. The feeling of security in his arms had vanished as everything else flooded back in. "You treat me like im worthless. From the moment i met you you have been cruel to me and used me for your own enjoyment. Ive heard how you treat Isabel. You treat her as if she is msde of diamonds. Why is she so precious? What did i ever do to you to deserve to be spit on, poisoned, shoved, insulted, and hit?"

Abel didn't respond. He stayed lying down, his hands resting on his chest when she pulled away. "Would you like me to walk you home?" he asked her instead of answering. "Fleur wanted me to "

Eloise looked away from him. Thos wasnt good. Her hangover was making her emotions fly everywhere. "No i can do it myself." She muttered as she got up and pulled on her heels, fighting tears.

"Be safe," Abel murmured, rolling over and closing his eyes. "You can come back here if you ever want. No body else does," he mumbled tiredly. "Guess I push everyone away. Probably better that I do. Keeps people from wasting their time on me, huh?" He squeezed his eyes shut to try to hide his tears. He hated hangovers. They made him unable to control his emotions.

Eloise grit her teeth and wipped around. "Do not try to pretend to be the victim. Dont try to act like you suddenly care about me when you treat Isabel with more love than you ever have me. You treat me like a poor excuse for a prostitue. I deserve to be cherished. I did all i could to protect you but all it earned me was a stab in the back."
