Fleur stopped and looked at him worried, seeing he needed help too. "Come on. Your house is close. Ill patch you up there." She nodded for him to follow before helping Eloise stagger outside.

Abel sighed, but forced himself up onto his feet and stumbled after her. He followed them, grumbling under his breath as he rubbed his jaw. He slid an arm around Eloise to help Fleur with her without looking at them.

Fleur helped them both onto the couch in his house before going to get his med kit. Eloise almost immediately flopped over into his lap, using his legs as a pillow as she tried to fall asleep. When fleur came back she rolled her eyes at eloise but sat infront of Abel, treating his wounds. "I really appreciate your help, Abel. That was brave of you."

Abel smirked faintly, gently running his fingers over Eloise's hair. He huffed, watching Eloise rest. "Not really. I just picked a fight with a bunch of guys in a tavern. Typical night for me," he tried to tease, but hissed through his teeth in pain as she worked on treating his wounds.

Fleur paused a moment, looking in his eyes, before refocusing on his wounds. "Im shocked you helped us. Dont you hate Eloise?"

"I don't hate her," Abel muttered, stroking Eloise's hair. "We just fight a lot and I keep hurting her. But I don't hate her. I just... I keep messing up."

"From what ive heard you have been treating her royal highness like garbage. Im not surprised she wants nothing to do with you. That would chase off any self respecting gorl. Also the stalking is very creepy." She finushed fixing him and sat back in her seat.

"I know that!" Abel snapped. "Forget it." He shook his head, looking away from her. "I wasn't stalking her," he muttered, but he had been.

"I know you werent stalking her tonight but you have before." Fleur stayed calm, unbothered by his outburst. She sighed and looked at Eloise's sleeping figure. "If you can fix yourself, stop being crazy and think things through. No more stalking, attacking people, trying to kidnap her, violent outbursts, and whatever else you do. If you fix all of that i will help you get her back."

"I'm not doing that. Well, I'm not going to anymore. The stalking wasn't..." Abel shook his head. "Forget it. She's perfectly happy with mr handsome. He's rich and perfect and a duke." His mouth twisted like he had tasted something sour. "No one wants me, and for good reason."
