Eloise rolled her eyes. "The last time you said hello i ended up in a pond. Excuse me if im a little warry after your threat."

"Fair enough. Excuse me," Abel sighed. He moved past her, his hands in his pockets as he gazed around the market. He hadn't really went here for anything. It was just his luck that he had run into Eloise. Now he'd never get her out of his mind.

Eloise watched him go. She refused to cry, even if she wanted to. She wanted to throw the bag at him but she was having a hard enough time carrying it making throwing it impossible. She really was foolish for missing him. He had never cared for her. She adjusted her hold on the bag and carried it down the street, trying her best not to drop it.

Abel glanced over his shoulder back at Eloise as she walked down the street, feeling silly but followed behind at a slow pace, hoping she wouldn't turn around. He was pathetic, but even though she wanted nothing to do with him, he wanted to be around her.

Eloise released a frustrated noise as the paper bag ripped sending the seed falling all over the stone street. She huffed and turned to go back to the store but stopped when she saw Abel. Tears welled up in her eyes, feeling pathetic. "Go ahead and laugh. Id rather you do it now then have it follow me down the street." She said before pushing past him towards the store.

Abel quietly slid money into her hand as she pushed past him. He shoved his hands into his pockets, looking down at the birdseed on the stone ground. He almost felt like this was his fault, like his bad luck had rubbed off on her just because he was following her.

Eloise stopped and looked at the money confused before shoving it back at him. "I dont need your pity, Abel. Just leave me alone. You torment me just as well far away as you do near me so whats the point?"

"Look, you spent money on the other bag. You can get the next one without paying for it. Just take it," he sighed. Abel frowned at her. "I don't understand. How could I torment you without being near you?"

Eloise's face turned red in embarrasement. She huffed and didnt take the cash as she continued to the store. "Stop stalking me. Its illegal."

Abel muttered something under his breath, turning away so he wouldn't have to watch her leave. He shoved his hands into his pockets, crossly walking through the market away from her.
