[Boomer]

Alessa let Owen pick her up and take her inside. She shut her eyes as they were brought into the ER. Soon a swarm of doctors and nurses surrounded them, as they recognized Alessa from the news, and also with Mary working in the ER at times. One of the nurses went to grab Mary from the coffee shop.

Owen held her gently then sighed as a bunch of people surrounded him “could you help her?” He asked, clearly upset that they were making a fuss of her being found than that she was hurting. A nurse led him to a room where he could put her down on a bed “take it easy little one.” He said softly.

[Boomer]

Alessa was a bit frightened as she had been surrounded so quickly. She couldn't remember the last week or so being held captive. She did start crying as Mary went to her bedside and hugging her, also crying. She had been so worried about Liam and Alessa; while she was happy Liam was found safely, she was more stressed about Alessa's well being.

Owen sighed softly and backed up, making sure not to get in anyone’s way. He knew he would be safe from any charges of kidnapping because he was often known to help out around the community and was a good citizen.

[Boomer]

After a few minutes, Mary let go of Alessa to let her be examined. The doctors noted that Alessa was receiving blood draws from the marks on her arms. They couldn't see any bruises or cuts on her. It was determined that Alessa had appendicitis and would need to go into surgery right away. Mary went with Alessa as she was brought upstairs.

Owen walked out of the er and to his car, driving away after making sure Alessa hadn’t left anything in it. He drove to his own house and got out, humming to himself.

Ryan arrived at the hospital, going to work in the cafe.

Mary stayed with Alessa as an IV was placed and she was sedated. She wanted to go into the OR, but she knew she couldn't. Mary made sure Alessa was doing okay in the OR before rushing downstairs to get a coffee. She knew Alessa wasn't going anywhere. She went into the coffee shop to get her morning tea.

Ryan has just finished putting his apron on when he heard someone walk in “well hello.” He said cheerfully. His friendliness wasn’t exactly his choice but he did want to be nice to Mary “the usual?” He asked, leaning against the counter slightly.

[Boomer]

"Good morning." she said, trying to compose herself, "Yes, please. I won't be able to sit and chat today... my daughter is having her appendix removed." Mary hadn't told Ryan about Alessa, only because it made her upset to think about the girl being hurt somewhere. "Do you remember that little girl that went missing?" she asked, "She's my daughter... a nice man brought her in about twenty minutes ago. It's a shame I didn't get his name, but we had to rush her upstairs."

Ryan nodded and made her tea as he listened to her. He nodded, acting like he didn’t know the girl even though she was his own flesh and blood. He looked over at her once he finished making the tea, he walked over and set it on the counter “it’s on me.” He said, pushing the tea over to her “and sorry to hear about your daughter.”
