He stayed quiet for a long while, just looking at Osomatsu, and then to the hand holding his own. It felt odd. "...nothing's the matter niisan, I thought it was obvious that I disliked him. Maybe I was wrong." Ichimatsu mumbled, "Nobody is really ever happy with me. Rarely. Doesn't matter though. Let's just quit talking about this." He knew very well that this wasn't going to be the end of their conversation, but it was worth a shot, right?

[cliffie]

Osomatsu took a breath. " Ichimatsu. I'm always happy with you, I was happy with you before this conversation and I'll be happy with you after this conversation. Also! There's a reason for everything Ichimatsu. There must be some reason why you don't like Karama-" He stops himself. He takes another breath. " You know what? We don't have to talk about this if you don't feel like it but, you'll have to tell me eventually. For now, let's just relax." He looks off into the distance. "Sorry Ichimacchan."

"It's fine." He mumbled, leaning against Osomatsu a little more. "It's probably just something stupid that I'm doing. Nothing to worry about. I like everyone else.... sort of, I could do without them sometimes." He laughed a little. "...I suppose it's just how confident he is. What does he have to be confident about? He's a loser like the rest of us. I can't be confident about that."

[cliffie]

Osomatsu looked at Ichimatsu and smiled softly. "Your jealous?"

"Not of him. Just of his confidence... ugh it sounds horrible to be jealous of... /that/." Ichi shook his head. There's no way he's jealous of Karamatsu and his sparkly pants.

[cliffie]

Osomatsu smiles at the ground. "I know how that feels. Feeling insecure and unconfident only to find that everyone around you seems to be quite happy with themeselves." Osomatsu sighs and looks back up at Ichimatsu, still smiling. "Then I learned that one day I'll be like that, and whenever that day comes I'm sure you'll find it too." Osomatsu said calmly, ruffling Ichimatsus hair.

"I'm not sure that I'll ever be happy with myself, but thanks..." The younger boy mutters, leaning into the hand on his head and closing his eyes. Ichimatsu couldn't help but smile when Osomatsu showed him affection like this.

[cliffie]

"Oh Ichimacchan, someday..." Osomatsu felt oddly tired. He decided to take a nap. Luckily he didn't need to go get a blanket because Ichimatsu acted as a blanket for him. His head fell heavy on the couch and his eyelids closed. "I love you Ichimatsu." He said as he finally drifted off into a sweet sleepy bliss with his little brother safely protected in his arms, that way he'd have no chance of losing him.

Ichimatsu cuddled close against him, closing his eyes and listening to the other's heartbeat. "Someday, huh?" He muttered to himself, a small smile on his face. "...maybe you're right for once. I love you too niichan."

~timeskip 1 hour~

After a dream of strange happenings as usual, Osomatsu seems to come back to consciousness. Wanting to stay in the moment a little longer, he doesn't open his eyes quite yet. This gives him a second to think about whatever he wants. Money, Pachinko, his brothers, and of course all the unwanted thoughts like his opinion on himself, his mistakes, and his fears. Being the optimist he is, he decides to pretend that those thoughts aren't there. Suddenly, he feels Ichimatsu shift in his lap, he's brought out of thought by this and finally decide to wake up. His eyes flutter open. Ichimatsu is on his lap comfortably. He decided not to wake him.
