"Huh? Osomatsu-" He didn't know what his brother was doing. Ichimatsu just watched as the other man wrapped up the kitten, smiling softly. That was cute. He'd noticed that the smallest was having some trouble but it was especially sweet that Osomatsu noticed without him having to say anything. "Oh... I see. That one is a runt for sure. A little whiny too." Ichimatsu sat next to his brother. If only someone would hold him like that. "I didn't think you'd notice."

Osomatsu winks and smiles at him. "I guess I'm more observant than usual today!" Osomatsu whispers as he rocks the whiny little kitten, not too fast and not too slow. Just good enough for the kitten to start purring. Osomatsu looked as if he was gonna cry, the kitten was so cute and small. He just wanted to protect it forever!

"Guess so." Ichimatsu leans against the other as well, watching the kitten. "...that's the first time I've ever heard that one purr, actually. You're pretty good at this niisan."

Osomatsu smiles. He felt like a mom who had just had a baby, except less painful. He felt proud and happy. He loved this little kitten. There was something so sweet about him that he couldn't quite place yet. He wanted to keep him protected and healthy forever. Is this what it's like to have kids? "Thank you Ichimatsu." Osomatsu speaks quiet and gentle, as if there was a baby asleep. He rocks the little kitten back and forth. He felt so calm. He's probably weirding out his little brother, he's just never been this way around his brothers. They've never bothered to trust him with a baby, or even a child. I guess his brothers don't know everything about him like they think they do.

Ichimatsu smiles. He never knew Osomatsu could be so gentle, but it wasn't a bad thing. He was happy to know that Osomatsu was like this and that he was the only one who got to see it. He felt... special. "You don't need to thank me. I'm guessing you're going to keep that one, huh? I thought you'd want the white one. I guess you're gentle enough for a small cat." He hummed, beginning to nuzzle against the other without thinking.

Osomatsu smiles. "Really? I-I can keep this one?" Osomatsu surely thought this one would go to Choromatsu, the most mature brother, or Karamatsu, the most caring. He was shocked. He sighed in relief, he really loves this little guy. "I'm so happy, I could leap into the air and dance right now, but the kittens asleep so I won't." Osomatsu says quietly in an almost soothing tone no one knew he had.

Ichi laughs softly. "I think he's the best for you. If it can bring out this side of you, then you need it," he says with a soft yawn, wrapping an arm around Osomatsu and squeezing him gently. He was so happy... but being himself, he wasn't going to say it.

Osomatsu has a secret. Something he always used to do as a child and honestly, still does now sometimes. When they were all kids he used to sing lullabies to his brothers to help them sleep. Now he just hums for them while they sleep. He hasn't sung in a while for them so he decided now would be a good time. He started to sing an old Disney song, 'Lalalu'. He softly sung to his brother with a voice sort of impressive for someone like him. Usually he's snorting and lazing around or playing Pachinko and going for drinks at Chibita's. This, this was a talent. So much of Osomatsu goes unnoticed. Ichimatsu is the first to actually witness him like this.

Ichimatsu hums, snuggling closer. His brother's voice is calming and sweet. It makes him feel better, like everything is okay. "You have a nice voice. I wasn't expecting that," he says softly, sort of hoping that the other wouldn't respond. He wanted to keep hearing his brother sing for him. A sleepy smile crept across the man's lips as he closed his eyes, just listening.

Osomatsu blushed a bit, he thought Ichimatsu was already asleep and didn't expect a complement. He looks at Ichimatsu and smiles. Still singing until he finally gets to tired. His eyelids start to fall and he starts to go into dreamland.
