"Mm, that's right, you probably should." The tom tapped his tail against the soft bedding as usual, "Well, at least that's something Im able to do, should cure me of my boredom." A weak smile appeared on his furry face, however, it faded as fast as possible. Help? Well, I suppose why not. He thought, sitting up slightly, "What do you need me for? We could start curing my boredom right now." Tigerstep seemed somewhat excited at the thought of finally being able to do something, despite only being here for one day and most likely not even being strong enough to get up without tumbling over his own feet. The dark feline waited patiently, swishing his tail, curling it within moments.

Softwing was glad at his willingness to help out. ''I have to sort herbs for you, but theres so many, I could use an extra paw.'' She looked down upon him and carefully passed him a small pile of mixed up herbs she had gathered early that day. ''Catmint smells sweet, and alluring, and poppy-seeds are tiny little black packets. Cobwebs are sticky and white, I use them for wounds.'' She named only a few as to not confuse the tom. ''Remember, don't eat any of the catmint however tempting it may be.'' She knew how many cats had succumbed to its delicious taste and smell, using up her stock.

Herbs, of course it is herbs, why did I get excited? There's no way I'd be able to go outside just yet. He'd sigh, careful to make it quiet enough for the she-cat not to hear. "Will do," Tigerstep replied in his neutral tone, while looking down at the herbs he shrugged ever-so-slightly, "This seems easy enough I suppose." He'd began to sort the different supplies into different piles, listening to what she had said about their characteristics. The strong, yet sweet aroma filled the air, his nose twitching just at the slightest sniff. He had the urge to let out a sneeze, but refrained himself from doing so, instead, gently rubbing his wet nose. "So, where is your apprentice then? Thought you had one?"

She pushed 2 more piles towards him, happy that one cat was willing to help. For some reason, she always hummed slightly when she did her sorting, or gathering. ''Do have fun!'' she said, a hint of humor edging her voice. ''I guess you big, tough toms and used to hunting and providing, but your help is always appreciated.'' She watched him sniff the herbs and begin to sort them, and he was doing pretty good so far, barely mixing up any of them. She was enjoying his company, and beginning to think 'he'll be useful.' His question tightened her throat and she coughed. ''Pardon?'' Being slightly defensive, she wrapped her tail around herself and turned away. ''The past is behind me.'' she whispered, closing her eyes.
