grace is like any other girl her age. free-spirited, and all about
exploring the world around her. unfortunately, she can only do
so much as she is trapped within the walls of her very own hom
e -- hilltop. oh, she isn't complaining at all. the place is filled w
ith food and water to keep everyone prepared for the beasts, th
at walk among them. however, it still feels like there is a missin
g piece in the puzzle. as the group continues its ways, grace disc
overs that she is yearning for human interaction. someone who u
nderstands her... unlike her dad, who might as well be dead too.

Daniel Hartford or Dan / male/ 19 / lives in Alexandrea
Dan has been running with Rick's gang from the beginning.
He was with his father and little brother when the dead
came; they survived together for awhile but eventually bo
th his family members fell victim to walkers. He still carri
es the emotional scares of their death, and despite covering
up his grievance with humor and jokes, he misses them dea
rly. Daniel has an unnervingly sarcastic bratty attitude, but
he takes his position and job in the group very seriously. He
would never willing put his group in danger and do pretty m
uch anything to ensure their safety. He is a bit hot headed
but tries to control his temper and not let emotions dictate
his actions, knowing in the state of the world it is dangerous
to be impulsive. When he does loosen up (which isn't often)
he goes back to being his witty and charismatic self. Dan's
way of defusing a tense conversation is with humor; if he
senses that things are getting too intense he will often throw
a snide or sarcastic comment at the worst possible moment.
He is quite awkward and not everyone understands his dark
humor. More often people are laughing at how bad and conf
using his joke was rather than the joke itself. His ability to
go from extremely serious and dutiful to easygoing baffles
people who don't understand why. Despite his conflicting
personality, he only wishes the best for those he loves and
is fiercely protective of the people who have become family
