Damen looks at them and smiles politely. "I am prince Damen, and this here is Lucas, he is a duke and a close friend of mine. We do have plenty of events and such for this day if you would like to watch them. I would like to get to know you a bit more Sabrina before the main event."

Lucas looks over at the prince, as straight forward as ever."You guys just go have fun! Plenty of things to do on your day! People to meet, places to be. As well relax a bit Damen!" Lucas shakes Damen's shoulder. Lucas is clearly the more energetic out of the two for more than one reason. Damen eyes are dulled, almost feeling like some of his emotion has been drained or sapped.

Damen looks towards Lucas, then back towards the princess. "Yes... there is all of that, or if you two are hungry or want some rest from the trip I can guide you to the rooms you will be in or to a table so you can dine." Trying to be polite and give them options of anything they might want to do since arriving, in a way trying to make a good impression himself, though unclear if he really is with his goofball friend next to him.

xxxadelaide smiled lightly. she could hardly believe that lucas was a duke. in their country, if a duke were to act as bubbly as him they would quickly fall out of favor with the king. most dukes in lithionesia were dukes because of their service to the kingdom in their army. "it's nice to meet you, duke lucas," she said politely. she was much more interested in talking to damen, he seemed a lot more her style. "ah yes, i suppose you two do need to speak to each other and get to know each other before the wedding," she said with a smile. "im sure we can wait a bit longer before we go to our rooms, it maybe be nice to take part in some festivities before we rest."

xxxsabrina, annoyed at her sister's insistence on using the fan, snapped her fan closed and held it closed in her glove hand. adelaide seemed a bit mad at this but didn't say anything, as she didn't want to make a scene. "yes, it would be fine to look around at the festivities," she said excitedly. she thought it would probably be more interesting to talk to duke lucas but she was betrothed to the prince, so she would just have to converse with him for now.

Damen walks up to Sabrina and holds his arm out so he could guide her towards the events. "Lucas could you help me and assist Adelaide?" Curious on what is future wife's personality is, though he is a bit disappointed. He is quite sure why that is... (Not trying to be rude towards Sabrina or anything >.< Just saying he is sorta having some other interests he isn't aware of!)

Lucas smiles at them then at Adelaide, though having some more interest towards Sabrina. "I would be glad to if you would let me, though it would be understandable if wanted some more.. royal." He walks up towards Adelaide and smiles glad to be helping these beautiful princesses.

There are a couple of events, some of them simpler and others more violent. There are some basic duels, music, and some entertainers trying to do something fancy with their magic. The more violent ones are more advanced duels, 2v2 with magic or a free for all with 4-8 people in it, depending on who joins. The risk of these are higher than the basic duels, but there have been some safety's put in so nobody dies.
Some people disagree with that safety, but for people who organized all of this and the King and queen themselves didn't want deaths to happen in their kingdom this day.

xxxadelaide smiled to him and gently closed her fan. "no, i'd be happy to have you escort me," she said to him. "so how long have you been a duke for?" she asked him. she didnt know how ascensions worked in karendra but in lithionesia the only way to gain a title was to take over after one of your relatives died or was to be a high rank in the military and earn the king's favor. she looked at the duels as they walked towards them. "hmm.. maybe i will give this a try," she said. she usually wasnt one to show off her powers but she felt like it today.

xxxsmiling as the prince offered his arm to her, sabrina took it and began to walk along with him. she didn't know exactly what to say to him other than to just talk about his kingdom. "it very beautiful here in karendra. it's so much different from lithionesia here," she said with a kind smile. she looked over to the duel ring as they made their way towards them. she was intrigued by the fighting and felt her hands itch. she wanted to get into the ring.

Lucas gladly escorted Adelaide. Well, I have been a duke for a couple of years now. I was first really close to anything like this because I assisted the prince over there with just who he is. He was just a quiet, lonely kid and that's what he had wanted, but his parents thought overwise. So once the prince finally accepted me a friend just been sticking with him and became a duke. Probably a weird story compared to your kingdom." When they reach closer towards the duels he sees her interest towards them. If it is something you want to do I don't see why not, I am sure you will do well." He is sort of curious how the princesses would fight when it came down to it.

Damen walked with Sabrina towards the duels trying to talk at least some instead of being quiet. "Thank you Sabrina, this place has a long history of golems of some type assisting in building and maintaining all the structures here, the kingdom is quite proud of that. What is it like in Lithianseia? I would love to visit." When arriving to the duels themselves he mentions, " If you and your sister wanted to fight we did have a plan for it, we just were not sure, but we had left opening just in case. I have been planning on doing a round very soon."

xxxadelaide nodded. "yes, quite. in our kingdom the duchies are only inherited from relatives or appointed those who had served the kingdom in our military or otherwise," she told him. "you are fairly young for a duke so i assumed you must have gotten your title some other way from inheritance or military service," she said to him. she looked at a pair fighting in the arena. she sighed. "maybe i will but i wouldn't want to get any injuries, or injure anyone else," she said to him. she usually didn't use her power to do anything but awe people with her voice. though, her power could allow her to hypnotize and mind control.

xxxsabrina smiled. "since im going to be living here now, i'd love to hear more of the history and i sure i will," she said to her future husband. "it's very different from here. lithionesia has always been a kingdom built on war and it's hard for the warriors to stop fighting. sometimes they want a war so much they decide to fight each other," she said with a small chuckle. "but its a charming place since you get to know it better," she told him. she nodded. "i think that would be a great idea," she said eyeing the ring.

Lucas smiles. "Well we all earn our places in one way or another I guess. Its no pressure if you don't want to fight in the ring, it isn't necessary just optional. Many people find it fun. I don't plan on going into the ring, not very interested much in combat with my powers. There are other activities here as well!" Seems honestly pretty cheerful and happy toward a lot of things.

Damen listened as she talked about Lithionesia. "Seems like a place that is hard to control, but an interesting place to have maintained order." Damen sees her interest towards the ring. "Well you can go anytime after any round if you would like."
Damen hears his name off in the distance and he looks over, seeing that the arena master had called for him, his round coming up. "Looks like I am up myself."

xxxadelaide nodded. "i may just watch for now and decide if i want to fight in a moment," she said with a smile. she walked towards the seating that had been set up around the ring and took her seat on one of the top rows. she wanted to see all of the action. maybe if she paid attention to all of their strategies, she would have a better chance when she did go into the ring.

xxxsabrina nodded. "yes, and i can't imagine how hard it is for my father to control them," she said to him. but that doesn't excuse how he treats his daughters, she thought to herself angrily. her father wouldn't even come to her wedding because she was a girl. she nodded. "good luck, i will go after you then," she said with a smile. sabrina looked up at her sister who was sitting in the bleachers. she felt that adelaide probably wouldn't fight.

Lucas smiled and sat with Adelaide and watches the matches next to her, cheers for a side every now and then. Hearing the princes name come up from the arena master "Ah the prince is up next, this could be interesting to see. I believe he is against a fire mage."

Damen takes Sabrina to her seat before going out towards the arena. "Looking forward to seeing your round after mind then." Damen heads towards his side of the arena and gets ready, putting on some fancy-ish armor being the a prince and he has a bone wand shoot out of the ground and into his right hand. He walks out of the arena and looks around as people cheer around him. His opponent walks out his hands and feet on fire to show off and he tries to amp the crowd and is very eager.

(Arena master) "Alright folks! A fight we have all been waiting for! Our own prince of Karendra! Versus a great champion of the arena himself! This is indeed going to be interesting!"

xxxadelaide smiled as she watched the prince walk into the ring. he looked very handsome in his armor, glinting in the light like a heroic knight. "this will be interesting, hopefully he does well. i think most people are betting on him to win, especially to impress my sister," she said with a grin.

xxxthe princess nodded to her fiance as she sat down. "until then, good luck with your fight," sabrina said to him with a smile as she watched him walk off. she then saw him walk back into the ring with new, fancy armor on that glinted in the light. she wondered if the prince stood a chance against the fire mage, who was currently trying amp up the crowd by showing off his powers.
