Asmund looked up at her, getting lost in thought. He ignored Bard urging him to kiss her and shut him out. "Ill stay for you and Bard but i doubt it will male much of a difference to anyone else." He leaned over and softly kissed her cheek, leaving a smear of ashes on her. "Go get some rest. You deserve it." He braced himself for her disgust at being touched by him, already mentally scolding himself for it.

"It would! They care about you too Asmund." She replied looking at him and then felt him kiss her cheek. She quickly hugged him after that not minding the ashes at all and then said: "Okay, you get some rest too okay?" She smiled up at him happily then turned to go and rest like he said she should.

Asmund hugged her back tightly and hated to let her go.
[When's the last time that happened to you?]
"Right before mom died." Asmund muttered as he watched Aonani walk off. He heard Bard chuckle but ignored it as he walked off to their house.

-few days later-

Asmund sat on the femce around the training grounds reading. A large dome of ice was in the field amd Oliver could be seen inside of it playing his violin with his eyes closed, the music only faintly heard through the ice.

Aonani smiles and waved back at Asmund and then said: "Have a good night Asmund!"

After the days have past everything felt back to normal for Aonani, everyone just going back to their usual lives. She decided to join training and then looked at Asmund asking: "Wait what should we be doing again?" She tilted her head.

Asmund shrugged and looked up from his book at the dome of ice. "I don't know Bard just asked me to help Oliver since he couldn't get through to him. Im trying something but I didn't feel like getting hurt in the process if i worked, thus the ice." He commented before looking back down at his book.

It was taking a while but Iris was slowly becoming aware that she was being flirted with as she helped prepare lunch for that day. The odd part was she didn't mind it and was starting to enjoy it. The satyr girl's laugh was sweet and the occasional brush of her hand against hers as they worked beside each other was gentle and made iris smile. Emily she learned her name was as they talked and the discussion made the time seem to fly by as they worked.

"Oh... so umm how will this help get through to him? I am a bit confused by this situation and what is happening at the moment." She then smiles a little looking up at him while she said: "Or is it so that he could play music without doing anything else?"

Cathryn entered the food area ready to grab herself some food. She grinned as she spotted Iris and rushed up from behind giving her a quick hug still unaware she was busy talking to someone. "Hey Iris! What did you guys make today? Smells yummy!" She grinned and peaked through the gap to see the food.

"Hes a fairy. From what I was reading their powers are directly attached to their emotions. Whatever turned him into a fairy seems to have trained him to hide what he is really feeling and only released everything when he is playing. Currently I am working on getting him to activate his powers while playing rather than stifling them. Right now he is just trying to glow. He did it for a moment but got a little ahead of himself and almost blinded me, thus the ice." He turned the page of the book he was reading. "if you find something you want to work on I can help, im just not doing all of the research for everyone."

Iris blushed and shifted away from Emily. "Potato salad and sandwiches. Should be ready soon. Have you met Emily before?"

Emily smiled somewhat at Cathryn but turned her attention back to Iris. "So a movie tonight sounds good?" She smiled when iris nodded and kissed her cheek, giggling as Iris blushed even more. "Good. Im looking forward to our date then."

"Ah okay." She replied and then looked back at Oliver before she said: "Alright, pretty much still just searching for purifying, I think it might help if we enter a darker area but I will have to be careful for it around my friends since pretty much nearly everyone has some type of dark power and mine could hurt them." She sighs softly then smiles at him saying: "How have you been doing?"

Cathryn glanced over at Emily and tilted her head then grinned saying: "Nice to meet you! I am Cathryn." However soon the chat seems to fade away from her and the two just continued their close like behavior. That was odd, she didn't think Iris would be going on any dates but perhaps she has started seeing other people and feeling more comfortable with herself. Cathryn slowly grabbed a sandwich and then rushed off saying: "Enjoy the date! Thanks for the food!" And pretty much made sure she was out of their way. Sighing ones outside she went and sat against a wall just staring at her food somehow not really feeling like eating.

"bard and I aren't dark magic. We can help you if you need. There should be a few crypts near here we can visit. That or you can annoy Iris by purging her house." he chuckled at the thought before looking back at her. "Ive been fine. Just keeping to myself unless someone needs something. How have you been? Still wife hunting for Bard and I or have you given up on that?

Iris went and foudn Cathryn once she had her own lunch, sitting down beside her. "Did you need something or were you just stealing food early?" She teased before starting to eat her own sandwich. She could see something was wrong with Cathryn but didn't want to both her about it, figuring she would talk when she was ready.

"Poor Iris, I'll rather have you help me anyway." She replied with a chuckle and then tilted her head a little with his next words while she said: "Wait would Bard also like to marry again? And no I haven't given up! In fact, I might have found you someone, but hey it should be a blind date so perhaps give me a time your free."

"Just stealing food!" Cathryn said grinning over at Iris and then said: "Didnt think I'll see you here, shouldnt you be with your date?" She winked and then playfully nudged Iris and soon just forced herself to eat the sandwich she still held.
