"Why?" Iros asked, even though she wasnt sure she wanted the answer.

Mace nodded before going to wake Jonathan and Oliver, ready to get going.

Bard rolled his eyes but followed her. He agreeded with Asmund that going to see the witch was a terrible idea but he didnt have a choice sobhe just focused on the wall, waiting for everyone to be ready.

"Well because you are always so brave and leader like, you have funny times and serious times, you are pretty friendly and caring, honestly it's just a bunch of fun being your partner and friend." She replied.

Jonathan woke up and groans a bit then rubs his eyes before looking at Oliver with a smile and kissed his cheek then got up as he said: "Alright that is the plans?"

Aonani looked up at Bard and said: "If the witch wants to try funny stuff you'll be okay with us around, I'll make sure she doesnt touch any of you again." She smiles and followed the others.

Iris smiled at her. "Thank you. You are pretty great too, Cathryn."

"Go to the witch and get her to send up home." Mace said shortly before going back to the group.

Oliver yawned and stretched out. "He seemed bitter. Did we miss something?"

Bard chuckled at her. "You cant even beat your own evil magic user. How are you supposed to beat mine?"

Cathryn nods and said: "Thanks, glad you see it that way." She sighs happily and then watched the others.

"No idea, let's go." Jonathan said and jumped up ready to start moving out.

Aonani shrugs and said: "We are fighting together so we are stronger that way, oh well we will have to see I guess." She sighs and walked to the others.

When they reached the witch's house it was late afternoon. Bard's face was pale as he looked at the house imbedded into a hill so it was hard to see where one began and the other ended. The swamp around the house gurgled ominously and sent a chill down Bard's spin, sending back an ocean of bad memories. "Don't do anything dumb." He warned the others before forcing himself forward towards the house.

Astra glanced worriedly at Bard but followed him to the house. The magic in the house was almost overwhelming and drew her closer. She raised her fist to knock on the door but it instinctively swung pen, allowing them inside. Everything was dim and crowded by plants. An old woman who had moss and vines growing over her sat in a rocking chair next to an empty fireplace, knitting an endless scarf and humming to herself.

Aonani glanced around at this place finding it rather creepy looking as she remained as close as possible to Bard knowing he was perhaps the one wi had the most fear at the moment. Soon she watched the opening door and entered inside just looking at the old woman there.

Adreal raised a brow at this place, he watched them enter then followed behind and sighs a little but chose not to say anything about how messy he found it with all the plants. He just watched Astra knowing she would be the first to speak.

Lily held onto the arm of Mace and glanced around, she was unsure about what to think if this all and just felt safest close to Mace. Ones inside she looked at the old lady and decided to use her manners as she said: "Good afternoon ma'am."

The old woman paused in ehr knitting, not looking back at them. "Come to play another trick on me? i thought you learned your lesson." She said in a cracking voice as she slowly reached a bony hand into her knitting basket causing the plants on her to shift. She lifted out two long, human bones that were tied to each other, smirking as she felt Bard shudder in fear. She gripped the bones tightly and suddenly Bard dropped to his knees, almost in a trance. "If only your worshipers could see you know." She said with an old laugh.

Astra looked at Bard scared. So much for him being able to help protect them. One wrong move and he might become a weapon against them. "Ma'am? We aren't here to hurt or trick you. We just came to seek your help." She tried to explain, takign a tentative step forward.

"So did they. I assume you will accept the no I'm going to give you about as well as they did." She said with another laugh.

Mace growled angrily as he watched the woman but didn't move from where he stood, his eyes glued to the bones that were controlling Bard.

Aonani watched her unsure of what she was doing at first but soon saw Bard getting forcefully dragged down as she controlled him. She then quickly said his name and kneels down next to him placing her arms around him protectively as she said: "L-Leave him alone, we arent here for trouble we just want to get back home."

Adreal narrowed his eyes a bit, unsure if this was even close to safe anymore, he watched Astra but was also ready to flee with everyone if they had too, she clearly knew what she was doing and didnt seem to like them around either.

Lily held onto the arm of Mace as her heart started to beat faster and her worry build, she watched Bard rather scared now as she saw the power this person held. She then looked at Mace with a worried expression.

"Trouble always follows those two. If I had known what they would have become I would have just killed them instead of locking them together. I thought their own arrogance would kill them but once again they always had a trick up their sleeve. Im half tempted to rip them apart and watch them kill each other." the witch said, her back still turned to them as she ran a bony finger over the ropes tying the bones together.

Astra swallowed nervously. This wasn't good. Fighting Bard and Asmund when they had to switch who was in control was bad enough. if they had to fight them when they were apart she didn't know if they would even be able to get away. "Please. We just want to go home but are trapped here. Someone as powerful as yourself should be able to easily send us back to our own time."

The witch chuckled, her finger still running over the bones. "I don't do things for free. Ill send you all home but the little god stays with me. That is my price."

Adreal raised a brow at this old witch and then said: "Honestly how bad was a simple trick even to make you this angered at them? Is it not normal for kids to do a trick here and then, cursing them because if it seems rather unfair if you ask me." He then sighs hearing her offer and then waited for the response of the others.

Aonani suddenly heard the words of the witch giving them the ability to go back if they left the twins. This caused her to just yell out: "No! Time would kill them here too! We arent leaving them here." She just held onto Bard and Asmund tighter. She wasnt sure what the others would say, quite a few seemed like they wouldnt mind him getting left behind so she was afraid they might actually agree to this offer.
