Draco groaned as he woke up and crawled out of bed. He carefully slicked back his hair. He walked down to the great hall and started to eat. He looked around to see if Potter was down yet.

harry grimaced at the cold winter air. he rubbed his hands, trying to get them warm as he wandered down the great hall. he'd slept in, and ron and hermione had already gone. the warmth of the hall, with all the bustling bodies and hot food, hit him long before he reached doors. as he entered, he noticed draco sitting alone. what's up with him? i thought he always had a goon or two around him. he shook it off and started to search for his friends.

Draco looked and saw Harry and gave him a. I’ve smile. He saw that he wasn’t even looking his way so he sighed and waved his goons over. He yawned and started eating some of his food once they sat down with him. He kinda felt weird for liking potter but he was trying not to care to much

harry strolled over and sat next to ron, who started to babble animatedly about his quidditch team's latest victory. he poured himself a bowl of cereal and milk. he quickly glanced over his shoulder at draco, who gave him a small smile. harry felt his face heat up. he was probably sneering at me. he began to eat his food, so as not to appear embarrassed. wait, why would i seem embarrassed? it's not like i care, is it? i don't like him or anything... he's made my life hell for a number of years. that just isn't possible. he thought firmly, only deep down, he could feel the wrongness of it all.

Draco crumpled up a piece of paper and chucked it at the back of Harry’s head. He laughed before saying “Come on Potter your supposed to catch it dim wit!” He laughed at that before returning to eating food

harry turned and glared at him with the severity of one who has just been hurriedly aroused from a nap. "yes, very funny, draco." he picked up the ball of paper. "shall we give mr. malfoy a round of applause?" he added in a softer voice, so only ron and hermione were able to hear. ron muttered something very rude, and hermione slapped his arm in mock astonishment. harry spun round suddenly and threw the paper into draco's breakfast, splashing milk everywhere. no, i defiantly do not like him.

Draco chuckled and then his smile turned into a frown when he got milk all over him. “Damn you Potter! These were nice robes!” He said getting up suddenly. He slid off the robes which left in in a white button down shirt. He huffed angrily before storming off towards the Slytherin commons. “My father will hear about this!” He muttered under his breath as he put on a clean pair of clothes.

harry snickered. it was totally worth it, the look on draco's face was priceless. only, his face turned from laughed to suspicion as one of draco's 'friends' walked over from the slytherin table to where harry was sitting. "what do you want?" harry asked, narrowing his eyes. "why did you do that? you little moron. i hope malfoy's parents sue you." the other boy looked down pressingly at harry, who wouldn't let himself be intimidated. just because you are taller, stronger and more physically able than i am, doesn't mean you're able to use that against me. he laughed. "who are they gonna sue? my parents?" he sniggered. "go back to your table, dolt." harry turned his back on the boy, and began to finish his breakfast. he'd spoken to soon, as he was abruptly yanked from his seat and held by the collar. the other boy leered in his face. "who're you calling dolt?" harry tried to choke out a response, but to no avail. the boy drew his fist back and harry braced himself for impact, hoping one of the teachers or one of his friends would intervene.

Draco slicked back his hair and checked himself in the mirror before beginning his journey back to the Great Hall. Once he entered he saw one of his goons about to punch Harry. He groaned and pulled out his wand and yelled “stupify!” And sent the guy flying back a few feet. “Don’t punch him you idiot!” He snarled walking over to his goon laying down on the floor. He grabbed him by the back of his collar and lugged him back to the Slytherin table. He huffed and threw him into the table and sat down and finished eating his cereal. He was bombarded with questions why he’d do that but he just shook his head and muttered curses under his breath.
