Rolling her eyes, she follows. If he's not going to play nice, neither is she. The only issue is they are currently stuck with each other as partners, which means they will be on a team together. Lapiz walks quietly behind him, but eventually is annoyed by his silent treatment. It's probably due to her heritage. "Look, bud, I don't care what you think of Faunus, but you need to at least tell me your name. We're stuck together for four years, whether you like it or not. So again: what's your name?"

Being pushed to the side, Pinon has to roll to avoid stabbing her with his polearm. Tackling someone with a sharp stick on their back is not the smartest idea. As the boarbatusk repositions itself to charge again, he whips out one of his dust-infused daggers and throws it. It plants itself in the boarbatusk's forehead, exploding into Grimm dust and electricity. "Thanks; we better head to the relics. Do you know where the center of this place is?"

not because faunus *he gives her a look that read as dont play that card.* and if you stop talking after this ill tell you my name, its beryl. *his tone was not rude but it was high in annoyance, he kept going and they reach a clearing on a hill*

*Beth thinks* no but all i was told that the center would be marked obvious from the rest of the surroundings *she shrugs* thats all i know, so whats your story

Lapiz sighs. This might be a long year. "Well, sorry Beryl, but where I'm from, rude people tend to have a reason to be rude. Any particular reason for being a prat?" She pauses as they reach a clearing, noting the recently renovated ruins in the center of it. Within, she can see what appear to be small, black creatures.

Pinon looks at her in disbelief. How could both of them be idiots? He thought, perhaps, his partner might know a thing or two about locating things. Sizing up the closest tree, Pinon informs her of his plan. "Well, if we have no idea, maybe we can find a clearing by climbing this tree." Once at the top, he notices a small area with less trees, about two minutes' walk from the tree. "That way!"

*Beryl goes up to the creatures ignoring the question, he inspects every piece very carefully. he then stops abbrubtl* hear that

*She nods and starts walking that way* race you there partner *she hears voices like crazy and stops a very loud hiss is heard from her left.* Oh that cant be good

Pinon freezes, activating his semblance. Less than a second later, something hard hits him. It takes a few moments before he can see clearly, and he notices a huge, angry King Tajitu glaring at him. Well, one of the heads. The other is shaking his head, much like it hurt its jaw. "RUN, BETH, RUN!" Taking his own advice, he gets up and sprints away, crashing through trees and into a clearing. Spotting others, he gives a useful warning: "SNAAKE SNAKE SNAKE SNAAAAAAAAKE!!!

*Beth runs and was slightly slower than pinon and was panicked as she hit the clearing. she hears stuff wizzing by her and pinon and explosions behind them after each one*

*as Beryl hears snakes he turns and starts shooting arrows rapidly at the thing* why did there have to be more people *he said to himself as he continued* I have an idea *he yells* line the heads up for me *he slings the bow and pulls out some dust* im going to need some more

Hearing Beryl call out, Lapiz starts to shoot at the serpent's eyes. "I can give you one shot! I just need to get closer. Hey new lady, cover me!" She flicks her wrist, causing the whip to snap open. Running towards the creature, she simply hopes that one of the others can give her some help. If not, she may become a lovely snack for the Grimm.

Once past the guy in the clearing, Pinon turns around. He can see his partner make it safely to the clearing and watches as the other guy shoot some arrows at it. He has to admit, the arrows work pretty well. Pulling out his own staff, Pinon realizes he's pretty much useless at a long range. In short: he gets to run back at the creature. Sighing, and cursing under his breath, he skirts the edge of the clearing and heads for the back middle of the snake. When he gets there, he plunges the end of his staff into the snake and uses it to vault on top.

*Beth looks at beryl and gives him the dust she had. she then goes to atempt to help distract the snake, hittinfg it hoping to maybe hit a weakspot*

*Beryl watches as beth hands him the dust she had* This will have to do, and this will be my only shot *dust starts to surround and form into a large spike. he was focused on making the spike at least damaging enough to kill or at least weaken it to make it flee*

Now on top of the Grimm, Pinon can hardly balance. The others had asked for cover and a clear shot, and he was going to give them one. Using his polearm as an anchor, he makes his way to the snake's white head. The Grimm violently shakes to fling him off, but he manages to keep a hold of the snake. Pulling out one of his dust-daggers, he makes a blind swipe for its eyes. He succeeds, but manages to set off the dagger - an electric cloud one.

As she gets closer, the girl starts beating up the snake. The guy she came with started climbing the snake while her partner, Beryl, stood back preparing to shoot it. She had to get a little bit closer, just enough to smash its face into the ground. As she gets closer, a puff of electricity and smoke appears at its head. She wonders about it, but comes up close to its dual heads. Thrusting her hands down, Lapiz activates her semblance, effectively pinning the snake (and Pinon, and Beth) to the ground. "SHOOT BUD SHOOT!"

*Beryl fires a large spike quickly peirces the grimm in the ideal spot, but the bolt hits beth a bit in the arm. he hears her go to scream but she breaths out a sqeak as her voice cracked when she did. he quickly goes to check on everyone first going to beth* are you ok miss

*Beth feels herself become pulled to the ground in an awkward spot. she hears to shift and squirms to avoid the bolt but is grazed in the arm, it hurt alot but she squeaked instead of fully screaming, she could feel her arm both gravely cold and hotter than the sun. Her arm bleeds as she hears footsteps and the guy who just bolted the grimm and her kneels down to her* "are you ok miss" *she was slightly shaken but nods*
