Ivy looked around carefully as she walked into the circus next to her best friend Sam. She hated circuses and she doesn’t even remember why she agreed to go. “Why do I have to be here again?” She questioned angerly. She huffed and found a seat and sat down.

Sam shook his head at Ivy. “You wanted to go last night! You thought it’d be fun! Now shut it and find a seat!” He said looking around for some more of his friends. “This place can be fun! You’ll enjoy it trust me!” He said sitting down next to her after waving some people over.

xxxso this was the circus. emory had been given some money for a ticket to come see the acts at the huge red tent. he paid and quickly walked up the risers trying to find a good seat. he then saw ivy and sam, a couple of kids he knew from school, and walked over to them. "hey, do you guys mind if i sit over here? i don't really know anyone else that's here," he said with a kind smile.

xxxeloise was a nervous wreck as she did her makeup for the show, her hands shaking as she tried to do some dramatic eyeliner. she took a deep breath, knowing that if she didn't preform well the circus master wouldn't be very happy. to show the illusion that she was dangerous, chains were put on her arms and legs. she took another breath. she need to perform well.

Ivy looked up as a guy she knew from school came in. She scoffed as he sat down next to Sam. She wasn’t excatly friendly with new people but she knew Sam would give her a hard time if she said something. She pulled out a book from her satchel that was sling around her arm and started reading. She could already tell that this wasn’t going to be fun for her so she needed the book as a distraction.

Sam offered the newcomer a large smile and said “of course you can! But would you mind sitting next to Ivy? I’m waiting for one of my guy friends to come and he wanted to sit by me!” He glared at Ivy when she gave him a mean glare as he said that. She was going to hate his guts for this but he didn’t really care

"oh, yeah, mate. of course, thanks," he said with a smile. he felt a bit uncomfortable sitting by the girl because he could tell she wasn't really happy about it, but he did. it was better than sitting by someone who he'd never even seen before. he looked out at the middle of the ring when he saw the a light point at the center. "ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the tall tent circus! i am your ringmaster and for our first act, i'd like to present the dragon woman!" he called, point his staff at the opening in the tent.

xxxthat was her cue. three burly men began to drag her into the ring while poking her with sharp metal sticks to anger her. "she is dangerous, a tainted maledictus with a blood curse," the ringmaster said circling her. "while she is still young she can shift forms but as she grows she will become trapped in her animal form." another one of her cues. eloise closed her eyes and suddenly began to shift. her body grew, mangled, wings and horns grew and scaled covered her body (her dragon form is specifically a peruvian vipertooth). one of the men poked her and this time she roared, fire spewing from her mouth.

Ivy looked at the stage when she heard the word maledictus. She gasped and watched how she was treated. She had a huge soft spot for creatures and the fact that she was also part human angered her. “They shouldn’t treat her like that!” She whispered glaring at the man the whole time. “I. Will. Find. Him. And. Kill. Him. You are so damn lucky you little ass that I can’t do anything about it right now” She said as her hands turned into fists.

Sam immediately noticed how beautiful the girl was before she turned into a dragon. “Don’t they know that her turning into a dragon so many times is speeding up the process of her turning?” He said angrily. “We should totally break her out.... I mean your super talented and such an amazing witch and I’m pretty smart and strong! We can do do this!”

xxxemory saw them hurting the girl and couldn't stand it. "ill join you both," he said to them. he wasn't the most outgoing but he was a good fighter and he knew that with all of them working together, they could defiantly break this girl out. the wizard slyly slipped out of the tent and started to walk behind it to the area where he was sure they kept other acts and animals.

xxxeloise was unable to do control herself in her dragon form and as the men continued to poke and prod at her it was driving her farther and farther off the edge. she had never gone this out of control before but just as she was about to go insane, she suddenly heard a noise that she had been trained in her dragon form to mean she had to shift back. then she was back in her human form, her clothing ripped and a bunch of new wounds opened on her porcelain skin.

Ivy looked over at Emory surprised “damn didn’t think you’d have the guts to do this!” She said still a bit shocked. She shook her head and followed him out. She instructed Sam to go the opposite way so they could surround the guards. As she snuck into the back with Emory she pulled out her wand carefully. “Don’t get hurt kid....” She said softly before slipping into the shadows.

Before he left he gave Ivy a small nod and walked the other way. He was immediately met by a guard who tried to stop him. Sam of course won the fight and continued deeper into the cages of the creatures each of which he set free.
