1v1 with Boomer

Angle angrily or perhaps stressfully, paced the room, growling threats and swear words under her breathe. ''We could just walk out, but than we'd have to run...'' she was being thoughtful on how to leave the horrible place.

[Boomer]

Alessa simply nodded. She knew they’d have to wait a little while.

Angel jumped nearly to the roof when the door creeped open. But instead of Jon, Maleah brought them a normal breakfast. She was silent and refused to look into their eyes.

[Boomer]

Alessa glanced to Maleah and took her share. She glanced to Angel and only ate once she started to eat. Once she finished, she went into the bathroom to wash up and brush her teeth.

She ate her breakfast silently, ignoring Maleah's pleading stares. When she saw Alessa go off to brush her teeth, she followed closely behind. ''She knew...'' she whispered.

[Boomer]

Alessa nodded silently as she spat out the toothpaste. She, once again, didn't do anything with her hair. The girl sat on her bunk and looked to the floor. "I just want to go home..." she mumbled.

Angel sighed and followed her out of the bathroom. Quietly sitting beside her, she looked up to Maleah. ''You knew...didn't you?'' Her voice was soft and dangerous, like the sea before a storm, ready to explode with power any minute.
Maleah looked helpless and sagged her shoulders. ''Yes I knew.'' She tried to meet Alessa's eyes. ''I knew what he had done and I tried nothing to stop it, as you did before.'' Her eyes were clouded and murky, most likely from lack of sleep. ''But I will promise you this, I'll help you out of here even if I pay for it with my life.''

Alessa shook her head solemnly. "No..." she murmured, "I don't want you to endanger yourself. I know he doesn't care about you, but he at least cares about us to the extent of our powers. He still needs us alive." Alessa didn't know when or how Jon would ever find her and her sister useless, but for now, they were safe.

Maleah crossed her fingers and made a silent promise to herself, but left the room solemnly.
What are we going to do?'' sighed Angel, wondering when this nightmare would finally be over.

"We have to continue to play it cool." she whispered, "It'll take some time for him to relax again." She pushed her hair out of her face.
