Angel widened her eyes in surprise. ''You didn't do anything! You did nothing bad.'' She felt bad for making her defensive and scared, so she gently wrapped her arms along her shoulders in a hug. ''I know this is scary, and I'm sorry.''

Alessa slightly flinched as she was touched. She shook her head lightly as she stood up. While part of Alessa wanted to go to the mall so she could speak help, part of her didn't want people to stare at her and judge her for her appearance. She flicked her tail nervously. "P-please don't tell him I'm scared..." she whispered. Alessa didn't want Jon to use her fear against her.

''I won't. I swear.'' She pulled herself up and waited for the tension in the air to thin out. She looked grimly at the hair-brush and placed it upon her dresser, away from Alessa's line-of-sight. After brushing her teeth and washing her face, she finished another bowl of now-cold oatmeal, and inhaled deeply. ''Today, we stand up.''

Alessa stepped into the bathroom and brushed her teeth as well, but didn't wash her face. She took a shaky breath before nodding. Alessa was starting to worry that Jon would hurt the girls for no reason. She nervously held onto Scarlett as the girls went downstairs.

Angel walked slowly down the stairs, like as though she was walking to her own death. ''I-I'm afraid of what'll happen.'' She whispered. What if when they asked him to give a tour, he exploded saying no? Or what if he decided to as unfatherly as he is now? Either way, Angel walked slowly, dreading meeting him. ''Alessa...do you promise you'll leave with me?'' She said quietly, almost a whisper.

Alessa glanced to Angel and nodded. "Of course..." she whispered. Once they made it to the living room, Alessa looked around. "W-we're r-ready..." she said weakly.

Jon was calmly sit his chair, puffing on his pipe. The girl's voice surprised him, and he thought of lashing out angrily, but his plan pushed ahead of his feelings. ''Oh, I see your feeling better! Would you like to check out the mall now? I'm sure you'll enjoy it!'' He sounded joyful, almost like a child about to buy a big box of candy, yet inside he felt annoyed. He snapped his fingers and Maleah was summoned beside him. ''Maleah, you'll be accompanying us today.''

"Y-yes sir..." she answered, never looking Jon in the eyes. She knew the false kind voice he was putting on; her mother would do it if there were other people around. Alessa felt sick to her stomach. She glanced to Angel for a moment before looking to Scarlett.

Angel grimaced but stared forward, hoping he would just take them. She was uncomfortable with his gaze upon her, like as though his eyes were knifes piercing her skin. ''May we go? We have our cards.''
Maleah was silent as he spoke to the girls. They didn't deserve what Jon was planning. ''That Alessa is so quiet and kind, and Angel is wonderful and brave. Their delightful girls who don't deserve this.'' she thought. Somehow, she had heard what Jon was planning to do with them, train them and unlock their 'hidden power' yet bribery and false-trust was all he planned to do.
Jon smiled and opened the great oak front doors. ''After you.' He said, extending his hand to a limonene outside. ''That's Bert, he'll take us there.

Alessa dipped her head as she walked outside. As they approached the limo, she looked towards the driver's seat. She hoped that Bert was a nice guy. She slowly entered the limo and sat down, choosing to look down the entire time. She let her messy hair cover her face.
