seraphina scribbled down everything professer harper said. to anyone else, it probably looked like ancient hieroglyphics. in a way, it was somewhat her own language. she was the only one who could actually decipher most of it. from what she was gathering, it wasn't anything too hard. something she could easily finish in a couple of days. seraphina rubbed her arm, trying to warm it up. "jeez, lady...it's a whole freezer in here." she muttered.

xxxIn an act of pure kindness, Miles removed his jacket and turned to Seraphina. “Do you want my jacket? It should be a bit warmer,” he offered with a shy smile. He hoped that this would hopefully go well, this whole being an apprentice of Seraphina. She didn’t seem like a bad person to work with and that she was charitable with her time. Another thought crossed his mind; why didn’t he just quit the class sooner than later? He knew the answer to his own question; he was determined to try something new, since that was literally the whole reason he took up photography in the first place.

seraphina looked over. "oh, sure. thanks." she smiled, taking the jacket. she put her pencil down, finally done with writing. she had everything she needed for now on the paper. anything else was just filler content to her. seraphina tapped her notebook, now just waiting to leave.

xxxMiles had to agree that it was pretty cold in the room. Now, all he wore was a black t-shirt and jeans, but Serphina looked like she needed the jacket more. Professor Harper continued to speak up until the end of the class period, and the writer was sure it wasn’t about anything important. Miles stood and slung his bag over his shoulder, as did a few others, when the time came to leave. Not thinking anything of recieving his jacket back, he began walking to the door to leave.

xxxTaking a long pause, Miles quickly turned around to face the purple-haired photographer that was waltzing off. "Seraphina! Hold up!" he called again, a feeling in his side jabbing at him for bothering her. Taking long an powerful strides, the writer caught up to her, removing his phone from his pocket and opening up a new contact folder, he held his phone out to her. This action felt a little awkward and desperate to the person actually doing it, but how else was he supposed to get a hold of her. "I should probably get your number so I can actually text you when I'm free," he states, it coming out as almost a whisper. Adding a nervous smile and laugh, Miles glanced up and around the two at their surroundings.

xxxReceiving his phone, Miles nodded and let her run off this time, his mind buzzing with new ideas he could write about. Maybe even an extension of the assignment he received before photography class. Or maybe he'd call up Seraphina instead and ask her to teach him the basics. It was much needed, since he couldn't bring himself to allow himself to fail, since most of his school career he's managed to pass with A's and B's.
[it's fine, no problem.]
