- “Oh, perhaps we could. I’m not really supposed to go out, but I can make exceptions.” Lana quietly replied, laughing at the roll of his eyes as his name was called. “Don’t be too late.” She watched him leave and then looked to Adeline who seems disappointed. But that didn’t last for long. She bounded around the bakery as she exclaimed that she was going to be a princess. Of course nobody took her seriously and if anything she was annoying the customers. But Lana didn’t really care. She’d let her have her fun. Her brothers still looked shocked, but Lana had to make sure to look calm. So she continued wiping down the few tables and counters to pass the time.
Surprisingly, night fell quite quickly for Lana. She told her father she would stay up a bit later to clean the rest of the bakery whilst everybody else went to their rooms for the night. She wasn’t really allowed out. Mainly because her father didn’t want the bakery to get a bad reputation if Lana decided to go out more often. So she had to be quiet and couldn’t be out for too long. With that said, Lana very quietly tidied what was left out in the bakery as she waited for Theo’s return.
