Audrey had her playlist playing quietly in her room while she laid on her bed on her phone, one of Ariana Grande's new songs played in the background and she sang along to it in a whispered tone. She turned onto her stomach as she heard a car roll by on the streets below and moved to peer out the window. She placed her elbows on the windowsill and her chin in her hands as she watched humans carelessly stroll by. She would've loved to do that, walk around like she was normal, but she couldn't and Stefan would never allow her to.

Stefan walked down the sidewalk, his pace kind of fast with his hands crammed into his front pockets, he gave off a vibe to make people want to stay away and he didn't mind that. He didn't like their human counterparts in this town, they were rude and inconsiderate. He glared at those who dared to make eye contact, otherwise he kept his eyes on the ground. He finally pushed his way into the café, wanting to grab his and Audrey's coffee and then get out.

Luke hummed softly then got up from his throne and walked out of the throne room. he goes to his chambers and lays down on the bed, for a little bit he thinks and wonders how he's gonna do the ball. then he gets up and walks outside of the palace. Slowly he starts to hum again, walking out in the garden with his hands in his pockets. Looking around he sees vampires, and some humans. he chuckles to himself "they have no idea whats coming" he says. He makes his way back to the palace, calls in a guard and starts talking to them about the ball. "i want it to be tonight, i want all the humans in the city to be invited and all the vampires, this will be a good night"


Starling makes her way to the palace, she is stopped by a guard saying HOLT. She stops and looks up at the guard "what is your business here?" he asks her. She sighs, then walks away ignoring the guards question. "where should i stay?" she asks herself. Walking to the royal stables she walks in and sees stable boys and other people. Then she sees the vampires, getting a chill down her back she continues to walk into the stable. "is there a place i can stay?" she asks one of the stable boys. they look at her and nod "yeah, but you'll have to earn it, work for us and then you can stay" he said smiling in a creepy way. Starling decides to walk away and outside of the stables, a little creeped out.

Audrey continues watch the people stroll by, her hair draped over her shoulder and spilling over onto her arms. She smiled and lifted her head as her brother came into view and sat back on her bed, excited by the prospect of coffee. As he walked in she stood up and quickly grabbed her coffee “Hey Stef, thanks.” she told him as she returned to her bed.

Stefan had both coffees stuffed into a cup holder, strolling down the sidewalks back towards his sister. He walked past guards as he nears the palace, tuning into what they were speaking about. Some kind of ball. He walked back into his sister’s room after knocking on the door. He set cup holder onto the desk next to him and nodded in reply to her thanks. “Heard a guard talking about some kind of ball outside,” he told her.

Starling keeps walking, her feet start to get tired and she doesn't know in any place she can stay at. She sighs and stops at a bench. "oh goodness, there's no where i can stay. Maybe i should just go back to my parents" she says to herself, watching the streets.
