job; assassin for hire. - age; 24 years old. - skills; hand to hand combat, being completely silent, eating more than a horse, reaching the top shelf, making all animals trust him, improvising, falling asleep literally anywhere. - personality; many people question whether august is even capable of having emotions due to the permanent expressionless look on his face. he is very quiet, though he it's primarily caused by the fact that he's deep in thought sixty-five percent of the time, he also doesn't like people very much and hates wasting his time on speaking. - features; this man is unnecessarily tall, standing at six foot eight, his face stays unbelievably neutral no matter the situation, his pride and joy is his hair, and the only time anyone ever saw him smile was while he ate. - faceclaim; murasakibara atsushi

nickname(s); zane is often called “rabbit”, his mom’s alternative for scaredy-cat. this has gone into being called “buns”, “cottontail”, etc. you name it, he’s probably been called that. two alternative (and less common) nicknames for him are cloud and blue. he honestly prefers the last two.
age; 22
gender; male

personality; zane is probably the worst person for this job. he’s super cheery and nice, he loves trying to help out whenever he can. he’s also a mega scaredy-cat cat and is completely horrified but most things. this does work as a nice front to make himself seem more innocent, i suppose.
small bit of backstory; zane's family business is...er, assassinry? his family is basically raised knowing how to do their job. well, most. zane is one of the unlucky few who just has a small bit too much empathy. due to this, he finds himself working at the business' front business. a café. and he's damn good with his coffee maker. either way, zane just wants to prove himself as more than a coffee boy.
fashion sense; when he’s actually doing his job, he wears a black bandana, black hoodie, and black skinny jeans. he always has his hood on in an attempt to cover his distinctive white hair. otherwise, he’s seen in bright colored sweaters and hoodies with glasses. (yes, he has to wear contacts when he’s doing his job.)
appearance; zane has short white hair that he’s constantly trying to take care of. his eyes are a fairly light brown, though he wears blue contacts. he’s pretty short, at 5”4.
other;
-his family’s business is hidden behind a café front
-actually pretty good with cooking, he just doesn’t put it to use a lot
-he doesn’t like to have to get too close to attack. he prefers ranged.
-zane looks younger than he is, and he gets super annoyed when being called "kid"

Purple eyes scanned the tall office building in front of him, taking in all the information that it offered. He had received a call from his 'employer,' earlier in the day about a rich businessman who hadn't paid back his loan and now he would be paying the price for it. He used a black mask to cover his mouth and nose and pulled up his hood, the only thing that was still visible was his striking eyes. August had been watching the target's location from a neighboring rooftop so he made his way down the side of it that was hidden away from prying eyes. He had noticed there were three ways to get into the businessman's building, the most hidden one was through a vent in the back alley behind it. The purple-haired man shoved his hands into his hoodie's pockets and pulled out his phone to put it to his ear. He kept his head aimed towards the ground as he walked out into the crowded sidewalk and blended in almost immediately. His goal was to arrive at the targeted building and get into the restricted alleyway behind it without alerting security.

zane awkwardly stumbled through the crowd, fiddling with his bandana in his hands. he’d decided not to wear it at the moment. he wasn't quite sure what to do at this point, zane’d never actually had to work alone. it wasn’t that he was scared, it was that if he made a mistake, it was on him. he couldn’t blame anyone else. zane kept walking, somewhat distracted, but with an idea of where he was. he at least knew the streets of the city.

He crossed the street towards the building, glancing up at all the glass windows. He was never worried about keeping his mask on among crowds since most people just assumed it was some type of fashion statement along with thinking his purple eyes weren't real. The only thing that made him stand out was how obscenely tall he was compared to the average person. He made his way around to the back of the building towards the entrance he would use to get inside, scanning for anything that would make it difficult for him to get in. August slipped out of the crowd into the dark alley, placing his phone back into his jacket pocket and making sure no one else was there.

zane looked around, ducking into the alleyway. quite honestly, he wasn't paying attention and likely looked like an idiot. he picked up his pace, hoping and praying that no one saw him. maybe he could play it off somehow, say he was lost. zane was far too busy thinking about the horrible outcomes of his current situation to see august. in fact, he was looking the ground. suddenly, zane bumped into something. the white-haired male yelped a bit, covering his mouth to muffle it. he looked up, assuming he'd bumped into a trash can. no, of course he hadn't. "oh! i-um, sorry, er, um..i wasn't paying attention-wait. you shouldn't be here!" at this point, he was panicking. was there some sort of body guard he wasn't warned about? was this a set up? was he screwed? it was really just his luck he'd run into some tall guy who was standing between him and his mission.

He was looking around for the entrance he needed until he felt a small bump against his side. He turned quickly to see who had done it only to see a teenager? "I'm not supposed to be here?" August rolled his eyes as he towered over this new person. "I'm pretty sure you're the one who's not supposed to be here, kid." He glared, irritated that whoever this boy was could potentially cost him his mission. He used his index finger to poke the boy in the shoulder but it had enough force to send a message of, 'get lost.' August was never one to enjoy things causing problems, he was too lazy to do things that needed extra effort when he could just be at home sleeping instead.

zane felt his cheeks heat up as he glared up at the taller one. "hey! i'm not a kid, i'm an adult! and, no, you aren't supposed to be here." he frowned, clenching his fists. it was bad enough this empire state building of a person was here, not to mention they fact he'd called him a child. zane didn't think he looked like a child--did he? at this point, he was probably as red as a child throwing a temper tantrum, so maybe he did.

August raised his eyebrow at the small 'adult' and couldn't help but think it was sort of cute how he was so easily frustrated and red. "Oh, really? What are you doing here then?" He questioned, bending down to get closer to Zane's face, his purple eyes glaring with deadly intent. He didn't have time to deal with this little distraction when the movements of his target were unpredictable inside the tall building beside them. "For someone of your size you really have quite the temper." He pointed out, thinking he resembled an angry mouse.
