"I'm Mikah," he told her, getting a bottle of water for her while she changed. He handed it to her, neatly folding her discarded top and setting it down on the table. "I'm sorry about your shirt. Oil doesn't come off clothing." He sounded sincere, and his gaze was friendly as he looked at her.

Maya looked up at the boy, feeling slightly embarrassed but also she felt more comfortable around the boy now that she knew him. “My name is Maya, by the way. It is nice to meet you. “It’s fine... I don’t sing for nothing, you know” she pointed out.

Mikah's eyes light up in recognition. "Oh, you're that Maya. I thought you had looked somewhat familiar." He smiled a bit at her. "It's nice to meet you too. Do you need a ride anywhere, or are you just going to chill in here for a bit?"

Maya sat on the couch awkwardly and she shifted again in her seat. "That's me! I um... could really go for a coffee right about now but people would only gawk at me" she said bitterly.

"We have coffee here," he told her, going over to the coffee machine. "But it's not the best. I could go out and get you some, if you want..," he offered.

Maya smiled appreciation at the boy and she lay down on the couch so that her body fully rested on it. "I don't want you to be my servant... but if you wouldn't mind, that'd be awesome" she said with a tone of appreciation. "I can cover it, if you want" she added, holding out money.

Mikah shook his head. "I got it. I'll be back in a little bit. How do you like your coffee?" He was smiling kindly at her, completely fine with going and getting coffee for her. He didn't feel like a servant. He just felt like he was helping out a friend, though they had just met.

Maya returned the boys kind smile with one of her own and she shifted her position to get more comfortable. "I just like it as a flat white with two stevias and foam please" she said quietly.

"Got it. I'll be back soon." He left the lounge, heading over to the coffee shop. Later, he returned with the coffee, giving it to her and sitting down on the ckuch beside her.

Maya smiled after the boy and she had nearly fallen asleep when he had returned with her drink. She took it greatfully and she began to sip from its opening. "So tell me about yourself Mikah" she said.
