[Chicken~Strips]

"I'm nine, Ashton's twelve." She said. Then she leaned in and whispered "But he's moody as a teenager." She giggled, taking another cookie and handing it to her.

"What has it been like... Living almost a decade?" Alev asked, genuinely curious. "And what is it like with so many sudden emotions?" She asked, looking at Ashton from a side glance.

[Chicken~Strips]

Ashton muttered something. "Well, saying that, I feel old. I mean, I already have a boyfriend, I'm close to fifth grade, so if you wanna know how it's like to feel old, just ask Mom!" Leah grumbled at them. "My mom can be irratible, but I think Ash got it from our father." The corners of her eyes watered at the mention of him.

"Boyfriend? Is it human nature to only have one friend of a certain gender?" Alev confusedly asked. Alev also didn't seem to understand why Ally was tearing up.

[Chicken~Strips]

"Well, I've got plenty of friends, but a boyfriend or girlfriend is the person you like more than a friend, like Percival is Henry's boyfriend." Ally wiped the corners of her eyes, and Ash grumbled at the comment of being old.

"Ohhh. You are... Pre-adolescence, correct? Do humans always try to find mates this young? Wait- two male humans cant- oh. Human emotion. Of course, it's always human emotion." Alev said. "I still don't get it all..."

[Chicken~Strips]

"Um... Yeah, I think so." She blushed at the 'finding mates so young' part. "Well, even if we like each other, your first relationship doesn't usually work out..." She cast a quick glance at Leah, who looked away.

"Hmm." Alev hummed. She blinked a few times. "What else can you tell me about... Human-ing in general?"

[Chicken~Strips]

"Well, what else do you need to know? Ash, your turn!" He glared at her, pulling up his hoodie. "Nope." He looked back away. "Ashton, help 'er out!" Leah said, grabbing a frying pan from a cabinet. He muttered something and pulled out a chair across from them. "What do you need to know, I guess..."

"Ally called you... Moody? That means you are emotional, correct? How does one figure out emotion in others?" Alev asked, misinterpreting the definition of "moody."
