Kodi was in those woods, sleeping in them contently. He had been sick the past week and had snuck out of his bedroom to have a nice relaxing run in the woods. He was suppose to be resting in his room but he had different ideas. He slept beneath a tree in his wolf form. He nor his wolf even noticed Atlas near them.

Atlas caught a familiar scent and was quick to follow after it, his wolf excited. The scent guided him to a furry mound underneath a tree that he recognized easily. He's never seen Kodi in his wolf form, but that was undoubtedly him. He slowly crouched onto the ground, careful not to disturb the wolf. "Kodi?" He called out in a tone that was low enough to hear. This was his first time seeing Kodi in his wolf form. In fact, this was one of the few times he's actually seen another shifted wolf up close.

Kodi's nose twitched at the familiar scent which invaded his nostrils as Atlas crept closer to him. His ear twitched at the sound of his name being called. He opened his eyes and yawned. He shifted human and looked at Atlas. He smiled at Atlas. "Hey..." He spoke tiredly. He looked quite pale and sweaty as he was still sick.

Atlas carefully crawled closer towards Kodi to gently cup his face. The heat coming from his body was alarming to him. It was obvious that he was sick, but he had to admit it was sudden. Kodi had seemed fine the days before he stopped attending. Which just so happened to be around the time that he and Grant kissed. "What happened to you?" He asked, concern in his eyes. "I've been worried..."

Kodi leaned his head into his hand. "Oh, I'm just sick Atlas." Kodi assured him with a soft smile. "No need to be so worried. Everyone gets sick." He added as he looked at him with tired eyes. "I just got tired of being locked up in the pack house and I wanted fresh air so I snuck away and out." He explained as he looked at him.

"Well, that's good to hear." He smiled softly. "But you shouldn't be out here for too long." Wow, he was starting to sound like a mom. Atlas could understand why he wouldn't want to be secluded for too long, honestly he would sneak out too, but was it really safe? Especially with an overprotective pack. He knew that he shouldn't be staying here for too long, otherwise they'd get into trouble, but he wanted to stay a little bit longer with him. It felt like months since he's seen Kodi despite it being a few days. He wanted to do something to comfort him.

Kodi gave a weak smile back to him. "I'll be fine. The cool wind feels refreshing on my feverish skin..." He murmured as he leaned against Atlas. "The fresh air helps me feel better as well." He added as he looked at him. He closed his eyes gently as he laid there with him. "You and Grant playing nice?" He murmured as he looked at him weakly again.

Atlas was happy enough being like this. He gently rubbed circles into Kodi's skin. "Well, for starters, I didn't come close to ripping his throat out," He joked before wondering if that was in good taste. It was evident that they both liked and cared for each other, but were they really together? As a couple? He wasn't sure how well he'd take the news, but he was scared of how his wolf would react. "He didn't want to tell me that you were sick," He admitted.

Kodi relaxed as he felt his back being rubbed. He relaxed happily against him. His touch felt soothing to him. He released a chuckle. "Grant can be a handful sometimes but I can assure you that he means well." He spoke as he looked up at him. "Yes, Grant is protective of me." He smiled as he looked at him. "Shouldn't you be in classes?" He asked Atlas gently.

"O-oh, yeah! I should." He blushed in embarrassment, rubbing the back of his neck with one arm. He'd almost forgot about his classes. Atlas didn't want to let go of him. While getting onto his knees, he'd made contact with his eyes and found himself lingering on them for a bit too long. There wasn't anything else he could do to make this less awkward, so he shrugged lightly and decided to press a short kiss onto Kodi's forehead. That wasn't too much, right? It was just something for comfort. He's seen friends do it before. "See you," He told him before quickly jogging back into campus.
