Cyprus for once just allowed himself to be vulnerable. He walked with Alexander and spoke "It's not the fact that it's my father doing it to me. I guess it's just a build up of different things that is causing this pain. Seeing how happy, and protective, your mother was of you yesterday made me miss my mother even more." He explained as he looked at him. He didn't know why he was sharing all of this to him. "As well, I hate disappointing my father and I felt like I disappointed him when he struck me." He explained. He tugged his hand out of Alexander's but lead him to the park parking lot. "We can take my car. It's much easier than walking everywhere." He spoke as he placed his sunglasses back on. As soon as they got into the car he spoke "Mention any of this you anyone, even your parents and goons and I will not hesitate to murder you." He spoke simply as he looked at him. He started the car up. "Where to first, Alexander Lee?" He asked.

Alex was surprised that Cyprus was telling him that much, but he felt bad for the boy. He had never known that his mother was dead... or maybe just gone. "Cyprus, you aren't a disappointment. Sure, you're a pain in group projects, but you're still a smart guy, and plus, you're charismatic and a good leader. I don't think something like homosexuality, especially if it's not even, like, a kiss that conveys feelings, should make your father disappointed in who you are," he told Cyprus. When Cyprus pulled out of his grasp, he grew a bit embarrassed at his bold movements again.

At Cyprus' threat, Alex was back to bantering with him. He scoffed, saying, "I'm not stupid enough to tell anybody about this. If I did; I'd probably be killed." In response to Cyprus' question, he said, "We can go anywhere. Where do you want to go?" Alex liked doing mundane things, like going to amusement parks and book stores and the movies, but he didn't know anything about what Cyprus liked. Perhaps now was the time to learn.

Cyprus was slightly shocked that Alexander was so willing to compliment him. He chuckled and looked at him. "Well, you are a nice partner because you do all the work." He teased him with a chuckle. He felt more comfortable when he was bantering with Alex. "Well, perhaps a movie theater would be the best place to go so that nobody sees us together." He suggested as he looked at him. "Or we could just go on a drive, no destination in mind." He spoke as he looked at him. Just as they were about to leave Cyprus's phone rang. He placed a finger to his lips to tell Alex to be quiet before putting it on speakerphone. "Yo! Cy, we're going to jump some of Lee's boys right now. You on your way?" Cyprus's right hand man, Riff, spoke. Cyprus looked over at Alexander. He muted the phone so Riff couldn't hear Alex's reaction.

Alex smiled as Cyprus spoke. For once, they were getting along. He was fine with whatever really. It had been a long time since he had gone out with friends. But as soon as he heard what was happening, he turned to Cyprus, pinning him with a glare. "Tell him to not touch my men. Today we're not gonna make any moves against each other, got it? If you hurt them, I will take back everything I said and leave you here to be lonely," he told him, dead serious. He cared deeply about his men, and he knew that Cyprus could call it off if he wanted. He just wanted this day to be peaceful and fun for both of them. Without any of the whole gnag things getting out of hand.

Cyprus nodded. "I respect you enough to call off my men. It was a dirty move on my part anyways." He explained. He turned his phone back on. "Riff, call off the attack. I won't get there in time to witness the carnage so I don't want it done." He spoke. He had to lie so that his men did not see he was being soft. "Uh, boss, I don't think I will be able to call it off in time..." Riff spoke. Cyprus turned off his phone and tossed it in the cup holder. "Alexander Lee, hold on." He growled. He pressed the gas of the car and they soared off, speeding. He obeyed all traffic laws but he did cut off a couple of cars. They pulled up in front of a warehouse. He got out. "Come on. I need to teach my men a lesson about waiting for their boss and disobeying orders. If anyone asks, we arrived here at the same time by mistake." He told Alexander. He walked into the warehouse and placed his arm up just in time to catch a crowbar which was being swung at Jackson. "Boys, I've told you before to wait for me before attacking Alexander's men. Now, go or face punishment." He growled at them. They all ran off. Riff gave a nod to his boss and stuck his tongue out at Jackson with a rude gesture. He and Jackson had the same kind of love-hate relationship that Alexander and Cyprus had. Cyprus stood and glared at Alexander's men.

Alex jumped out of the car, following Cyprus, and was relieved to see that no blood had been shed. "Jackson. No more starting meaningless fights without me. I don't want anybody to get hurt because of a petty skirmish," he reprimanded Jackson, but he wasn't really mad at him. With that, his men retreated. "Alright, back to the car. Let's go to a park or something. Somewhere far away, but pretty. Then maybe a restaurant, because I'm getting hungry," he said, walking back to the car and getting into the passenger seat. He was pleased with how well they were getting along so far.

Cyprus watched at Alex reprimanded his second in command and he rolled his eyes at how sweet his voice was with him. He nodded at his suggestion and got back into the car. He thought a moment and hummed. He drove the car before pulling up at the zoo. "This seems like a good place for you. They have ducks." He teased him as he got out of the car.

Riff was not content that blood had not been spilt and he wanted to make his boss proud by taking out one of Alexander's men. He grasped his crow bar and snuck up behind Jackson. He was quiet as he did so. Riff and Jackson had a complicated sort of relationship. They both seemed like they liked each other, but then didn't, then came close to making out, then didn't. It was a roller coaster of emotions.

Alex chuckled at Cyprus' jokes. "I love all animals, just ducks more. Well, actually... I don't really like spiders... Disgusting hairy eight-limbed creatures. Eurgh," he expressed his dislike for spiders as he got off, and they ventured to the ticket booth. "You can pay, since I'm already gracing you with my presence," he told Cyprus. After getting tickets, he entered, wide-eyed just like a child. He really did love most animals and found them amazingly adorable. He first stopped by the lions, waving hi to them and marveling at everything they did. He pulled Cyprus to his side, saying, "Look at him... He's so majestic yet adorable, and he has the most beautiful coat of fur..." He gushed to Cyprus, aware that he sounded like a child, but not caring.

Jackson

The crowbar hit Jackson square on the head, and he cried out in pain. Unfortunately, he had already sent all the other men away. He rolled to the side and faced his attacker. Riff. Of course. He groaned as his head throbbed. He probably had a concussion. "Seriously?? I thought we said there wouldn't be any fighting?? Cyprus and Alex already told us to leave each other alone," he said, annoyed that Riff was betraying the tiny truce that their leaders had placed on them. He lunged for Riff, going for a punch to his stomach. Riff had attacked him first, which meant that if he was retaliating, it was out of "defense."

Cyprus chuckled as he looked at Alex. "We can both agree on the spiders dislike." He told him as they went to the ticket booth. He chuckled and paid for their tickets contently. He followed beside him. It was slightly cute to see how excited Alexander got over all of the animals. Cyprus chuckled and looked at the lions. "He's like me. Majestic, adorable, and will not move unless he absolutely has to." He teased with a chuckle. The lion roared lazily as he laid in the sun. He watched the lions happily with Alex.

Riff grinned as he looked at Jackson. "You and I both know that we have some tensions we need to work out by ourselves Jackson." He explained. He huffed as he was punched in the stomach but he grasped Jackson and flipped him over his back. He stood up and walked over to him. He placed his foot on Jackson's chest. "What are you going to do now, Jackie." He teased him with a smirk.

Alex snorted when Cyprus said that he was like the lion. "You're not very adorable, Cyprus," he told him, regarding him with amusement. He moved on, tugging Cyprus with him. The next cage held koalas, and Alex could just barely make them out between the surplus of greenery. "Aww, they're so cute. I wish I could just marry a cute animal instead of another person," Alex told Cyprus. That was another thing that his dad been pressuring him on lately. He wanted Alex to find a smart girl and marry her, then bring her into the family business, but Alex wasn't interested in anybody. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted an ice cream truck, and gasped, grabbing Cyprus' hand again. "Ice cream!! Cyprus, you have to buy me some!" He said, dragging Cyprus over.

Jackson

Jackson groaned, looking up at Riff. He did admit, that he might have feelings for the guy, but at the moment, he was being a total douche. "Get off of me," he snarled, pushing Riff off of him, then scrambling back up to his feet. "Why are you so insistent on beating somebody up? Bloodthirsty monster," he muttered, turning away from Riff again, but still on alert, not wanting to be taken by surprise again. He wasn't interested in fighting Riff if he just wanted to fight. There was no reason other than for Riff's own satisfaction.
