Cyprus looked at Alexander as he came to the courtyard and grabbed him by the collar. "Come back for seconds?" He purred at him in a teasing tone as he looked at him. "You seemed to have liked it with the amount that you were blushing back then and blushing now." He spoke. He reached up and took Alexander's hands off his collar. "Though, you do need more practice in the kissing department?" He teased the boy. He smirked and stepped away from him, giving a soft wave. "Now that we've finished that project Alexander Lee we have no reason to be civil with each other. Be gone." He smirked.

Alex tried to sputter out a sharp response to Cyprus' taunting, but nothing came out. He turned away, angrily storming off. He decided to go to the library before taking the bus home today. As he walked, he contemplated Cyprus' words. Alex had never kissed anybody, ever. Cyprus had probably dated tons of girls, but Alex had never really liked anybody, and felt like it would be a waste of time. He touched his own lips, thinking deeply. Did he like that kiss? No way! It was from Cyprus after all. Even if he was objectively attractive, Alex still hated him, and he was still a jerk. A light pink dusted his cheeks as it came back to his mind. Did he like it? Well, maybe... It felt... somewhat nice. No, he couldn't think like that. He shook his head to dispel any thoughts of Cyprus and entered the library, settling down at a table to complete his homework.

Through the rest of the week he kept on thinking about Cyprus, even though he knew it was unhealthy. On Saturday, he went back to the park to talk to the ducks. "Hmph. Like he knows how to kiss anyway. Who is he to tell me that I can't kiss. Plus that was completely unexpected. And, and... I don't know. I mean, it wasn't bad, but..." He muttered to them, feeding them more bits of bread.

That Saturday Cyprus went on his normal run in the park to keep up with his training and athletics except this time Cyprus limped slightly as he ran and he wore sunglasses over his face, which he normally didn't wear because he adored the golden hazel colour of his eyes. He continued his eyes one of his best features. He saw Alexander and thought that bothering him would help with his mood. He walked up behind Alexander. "Boo!" He spoke as he looked at him. The ducks quacked at him and he laughed. He sat down beside Alex. "Greetings Alexander Lee. Greetings ducks." He spoke.

Alex almost fell into the lake when he heard Cyprus. He caught himself with his hands and stood up, turning around and scowling. "Stop bothering me and my ducks," he grumbled. Then, remembering what he had, he asked Cyprus. "Did you hear any of what I was saying?" Because if Cyprus had heard, then he would tease him for forever. He noticed that Cyprus was putting most of his weight on one foot, which seemed a bit weird for his usual posture. "Is your leg okay?" He asked.

Cyprus chuckled as he looked at Alex. "No, I didn't hear anything you were rambling on about to your duck friends." He laughed as he looked at him. As he asked about his leg he turned defensively away. "Yeah, I just slept wrong." He lied with ease. He turned his face away and Alexander was able to see a darkness beneath the sunglasses, almost as if Cyprus had a black eye?. He huffed.

When Cyprus told him that he had't heard anything, Alex sighed with relief. But Cyprus' behavior was a bit weird. Alex eyed the sunglasses and gasped when he figured it out. An injured leg and the sunglasses to cover up a black eye, which could only mean... "You got into a fight?? With who? Over what? Hey, you better not get killed before I get to triumph over you," he said. Now he had something to tease Cyprus with. If that person had managed to hurt Cyprus to that extent, then they were pretty good, but usually Cyprus had a bunch of henchmen to call on. Hm.

Cyprus looked over at Alexander. He released a soft chuckle as he heard him so eager for him not to get killed before he gets to triumph over him. "My father." He spoke simply. "The only man who could beat me and get away with it. He heard about our little play that we preformed in glass and wanted to remind me what happens to men who show homoromantic tendencies." He explained to him simply. He sat down on a bench and sighed. "But it's fine. Just remember that I can still beat you in a fight." He snarked.

As Cyprus spoke, reality sank in. "Oh. Oh, I... I mean, I'm sorry that your dad feels that way," he told Cyprus, which was probably the first nice thing he had ever said to Cyprus. But Alex was also reminded of what could happen if his own father found out what had happened. "Sorry for getting you in trouble," he said. Usually he would rejoice if Cyprus was beaten up, but his homophobic father doing it was no victory. "Also, you cannot beat me in a fight," he added, just to make sure Cyprus didn't think he was backing down.

But, for some reason, he was concerned for Cyprus. "Are you really okay though?" He asked in a gentler tone. He took the sunglasses away from Cyprus and inspected his eye, wincing once he saw it. His protective motherly instincts kicked in a bit and he cupped Cyprus' face, taking a closer look at the bruise. "Have you iced it? That'll help it heal faster. And what about you leg? Is it just bruised?" After the inquiries, he remembered that it was Cyprus who he was speaking to, and quickly withdrew his hand, a bit embarrassed that he had been so willing to touch him like that.

Cyprus just released a chuckle. "I was the one that played with fire and got burned." He spoke with a teasing tone. "Also, I can so beat you in a fight Alexander Lee." He spoke with a chuckle. He looked at Alex as he removed the sunglasses. He winced as he looked at him. "No, I ran out of my house the minute I got hit. I didn't want my father to see he affected me." He sighed. "I think my leg is just bruised." He explained to him. Alex could see tears starting a bit down Cyprus's face as he was forced to show vulnerability to his greatest enemy. He turned away from him. "I'm fine." He spoke firmly, wiping his ears away from his face with a wince.

What was going on? Cyprus was crying?? Alex was so shocked he almost didn't do anything. For once, Cyprus was showing emotion, that he could actually be vulnerable. He pulled the taller male in for a hug, trying to provide a bit of comfort. After a moment, he pulled away and made up his mind to do something completely crazy. "Alright. Today, I'm going to spoil you and take you to fun places so we can talk about how horrible your dad is. Because if he made you cry, then he is definitely some sort of monster," Alex told Cyprus, taking his hand and leading him to the sidewalk so they could walk somewhere. Where, he didn't know yet.
